A defensive player appearance! Hasn't appeared to be many of those on the SF side so far.

Who is the 49'ers back up kicker? Harbaugh might as well use him for the remainder of this game.

EDIT: Billy Cundiff is their backup? Oye vey.

Roger Goodell paid Akers to miss that kick. It's his master mind plan to really torture the people of New Orleans. To have Atlanta in the Super Bowl in New Orleans will really hurt them.

Oh. Well, hopefully the 49'ers can score off this latest Atlanta turnover.

Ryan is deciding to follow in the footsteps of Rivers and Romo

Has Romo ever made a championship game?

Nah, he's only won one playoff game and personally lost two with terrible turnovers in the last minute.

Also holy **** at that fumble!

At least Atlanta didn't gain much of anything from that drive, though.

This is pretty much the definition of "clinging to a lead."

That was not a catch. B*. But man I have to say, Crabtree fumbling on the goalline, inches away from a TD... Akers missing that kick.... both horrible things that shouldn't have happened and should have put us ahead. But here's the thing. The real problem today has been our defense. I mean holy crap, how can we be such a good D and then just not be able to stop someone??

There wasn't conclusive evidence that the ball hit the ground as his left hand never came off from under it. Right call, since it has to be concrete.

    YES. Oh please.

EDIT: Oh good, because as we've seen these playoffs, giving a team the ball back with a minute left never turns out bad. That was some seriously awful **** there. WHY does Kaep get so many delay of games. What is wrong with them, just run the ball to a first down.

Yeah. Obviously I'm a Chiefs fan but kind of last year I started rooting for the Niners as well because I figured I should also have a CA team and one that actually plays in the postseason once in a while :p The Chiefs are still my #1 but I have been a Niners fan all season.

Went to the breakroom to watch the final few plays. What a choke by Atlanta. Up 17 and going home.

If you're Falcons management, do you try to lure someone else in to coach? Gruden or Cowher or someone like that?

They got farther than they did the last few years.

Anybody think the mess with Crabtree (even if it's looking like he might be cleared of any wrong - doing) served as a distraction for the 49ers early on?

Man, Harbaugh really lost it for a second there. It was awesome.

Wow, just wow. Biggest comeback in an NFC Championship Game ever. Even though we should have won by more.

Can we also now label the Falcons as the biggest playoff chokers of the last 10 years? Holy crap. I love Tony G, but I definitely didn't want him to be rewarded with a Super Bowl win for jumping ship.

    No.
