I was on the internet buying a 7:30 movie ticket. And now I'm not!

 

Everything is suddenly going their way. Awful miss, but their kicker gets rolled into? Plus the fumble . . . I think Stevie Wonder was working a little something during that blackout.

"He didnt show up in the Superbowl this year...."
*shove* "BE NICE!"

 

I disagree. I think that blackout made this a game we'll talk about. Under the premise, no PR is bad PR. As opposed to saying "What a craptastic game last night!" we'll be saying "Wow. That blackout really changed the momentum of the game." NFL wins.

 

yes, finally the super bowl will get some publicity.

 

So a Raven is down obviously injured and Phil Simms just keeps blathering on about the previous play as if nothing had happened.

Why did the power go out in the Superdome? Because GOD MADE A FARMER.

 

I don't mean in terms of raw PR; as others have pointed out, the league has pretty much achieved maximum saturation. I mean that among NFL fans, this Super Bowl result will be perceived as illegitimate, and probably justly so in my opinion.

Either way, hopefully this causes them to scale back the outrageously overproduced half-time show.

I agree. The Raven's got hosed(unintentionally by the blackout). And I bet on the Niners!
