Teams have the final say and word on any and every change to their game uniforms. So, that means they are ultimately responsible.

That's why you see the traditional teams like Green Bay or the Giants with no significant changes of any kind

To put that another way, these uniform changes are more a reflection on the Jags new ownership.

The Vikes after a year of seeing how their colors looked in the new Nike format with those weird collars went with a more traditional look

The difference is in the team's approach to these matters. They have all the control

The Jags handed over the design to team Nike. Yes they had to approve it, but nike did design it. They also need to get the NFL approval too.

The new Jaguars uniforms make them look like an Arena Football team.

Dolphins and Vikings have their official unveils today. Too bad they already leaked. lol

The speculation is that while the Vikings mostly look traditional upfront, the white sleeve stripe will flare up in the rear like a sail on a Viking ship. And the pant stripe might resemble an oar. Also note the number font. The first digit will have spikes while the second one will not.

I love the Dolphins new logo, looks better than that dolphin wearing a stupid helmet. Vikings look pretty cool though I'd rather they either have both digits with spikes or both without. Looks weird to have the digits be different styles.

Somehow, after seeing those new Dolphin unis, I like the Jaguar ones a lot more. [face_thinking]

But I like the new Dolphin logo as well.

Hahaha! Too much. My wife wonders if I'm secretly a gay sports fashion designer. I love the great-a-team feature on video games. I refuse to use the real teams. Give me a fake cupcake team and work my magic like an expansion franchise.

Agreed, they allowed Nike to do it.

So, are we all exited to watch the draft tonight?

Eh. I can't get NFL Network, so I'm stuck with ESPN gladhandingly smug McShay and Kiper instead of the usually on target Mike Mayock.

Still a million times better than the last set and the Jags.

But WTF with the black facemask?

It's going to be interesting to see what the Niners and the Ravens do with all their picks, those two teams have a lot of ammo to trade up.

The Jets too with their two spots in the first round

The different fonts for the Vikes are stupid -- I see what they're trying to do, but it's just silly. And I don't get this love affair currently going on with matte helmets.

If you have a chance, I highly recommend the ESPN 30 for 30 short "The Irrelevant Giant," on John Tuggle. Should be on ESPN.com, I'm mobile at the moment.

Bill Parcells is outstanding in it. Powerful stuff.

Good move by the Pack to quietly slip that under the radar of the Draft hoopla.

Because the Pack secretly hope that Rodgers will become Mark Sanchez 2.0, and they can bring in Tebow for all the hype.

Either that or they hate their cap room.

Considering I get the impression that Rodgers can be uncomfortable with all the media attention on him at times, I'm pretty sure he's glad that he's not the main talking point on Draft Day this time out.

And the extension itself is a good move by the Pack because now the Pack won't have to worry about losing their Super Bowl/NFL MVP winning QB to Free Agency for the next five or so years.
