Watching the Raiders play football (using both of those words loosely) is just a complete embarrassment. How little self-respect must one have to spend their hard earned money to watch that football team play? Everything about the franchise from the team to the ownership to the facilities is just garbage.

As far as Kaepernick, what really impresses me is how much progress he has made in making complex reads from the pocket instead of just trying to win the game with his athleticism when his first option isn't available.

Yeah, he's become really good at picking out that second or third defender.

So, when they move back to L.A., they won't be missed up in NoCal?:p

The Raiders damn well better not move back to L.A.

As a huge NFL fan whose roots are in Long Beach, I long ago decided that the Rams will instantly become my second favorite team the instant they move back to Los Angeles, where they belong, should such a glorious day ever come.

Should the Raiders defile my homeland with their putrid excuse for a franchise, I will find myself longing for the good ol' days when Los Angeles didn't have a team at all.

It appears that Ryan Matthews may have suffered a sprain in his knee in San Diego's game today.

Dallas got a TD called back on Defense by the refs on Sunday as well.

i think it's ridiculous to argue about which team has the better fans. mostly because the packers have had that title wrapped up for the last forty years. you're arguing over who's second, and it doesn't really matter. :)

Peterson's back in practice and is going to play against the Saints Sunday, per NFL Network.

I'm sure the curbstomping they took yesterday had nothing to do with it.

And they think they'll win the "this is child discipline" issue which is... misguided.

Why do you think/why should I accept that assertion as an absolute fact?

Given that the Packer fans (or at least some) collectively own the team, Prenn's got a point.

As far as the fan issues here, I'm a Denver fan, and I admit that KC gave the Broncos all they could handle. While the Denver D is crap, and the refs made some ticky-tack calls on both sides, the Chiefs have a lot of reason to hope. Knile Davis looked pretty damn good, and Alex Smith has definitely matured in Reid's system. I hate to say it given my fandom position, but the Chiefs are definitely going in the right direction.

And nice comeback for the Bears last night. They found what worked for them and stuck to it.

Yep, the Vikings are going with the "it's a matter of discipline and whether he went too far or not in that discipline it's a matter for the courts to decide" route.

    REALLY?!?

The Vikings might as well have not suspended him at all at this point.

    Gunny,

    1) had no idea you were a Denver fan.
    2) you always exhibit a lot of class.

    Good game yesterday.

Penalties against Peyton Manning's team vs. Penalties against the Kansas City Chiefs (i.e. benefiting Peyton Manning)

    2014
    11 against Manning's team / 7 against KC

    2013
    13 against Manning's team / 9 against KC
    10 / 9

    2012
    4 / 7
    5 / 5

    2010 (with the Colts)
    5 / 4

Taking that further, some of KC's most penalized games in 2010 (much more than against Peyton)-- the Broncos and Oakland...featuring star QB's Kyle Orton and Jason Campbell.

In 2012, Tampa Bay and Oakland...helping Josh Freeman and Carson Palmer.

In 2013, Tennessee and Oakland...with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Terrelle Pryor.

Which is all to say that CLEARLY THE REFS ARE BIASED FOR THE OAKLAND RAIDERS
