EDIT: Did anyone else catch that 'NFL family' ad that just ran on CBS? I kind-of liked-it.

 

I hate that ad. If your kids root for a different team because they like some cheeseburgers or met a famous player from that team, you've failed as a parent and a fan.

Chiefs totally melting down. There it is. Didn't expect it from Smith but someone's got to step up and ruin everything. Good leadership! Good thing we kept our momentum going into halftime guys.

 

Well, sure, but the production value on it was nice, and at least everyone at the end stuck with their teams, regardless of how they chose them.

Given our current climate predicament out here, using the phrase "NFL drought" makes me chuckle a bit.

I love Browns fans. Probably the only people who can understand our combination of being awful for so long and yet having really dedicated fans. Well, the Bills to an extent.

At least y'all still have hometown teams that still play in their respective towns to root for.

Edit: Tunes enough with the retcon. LA doesn't have a team because LA doesn't want a team. Yes it's crazy they don't have a team, but this is not because of some injustice. It just speaks to how little most people in LA care about the NFL. I mean, I seriously know almost no one here who is from here and cares. Or really most of the people who've moved here either. It's just weird.

 

I admit I care more than most -there are some others! -, about this among folks here who are from here, but fair enough/duly noted.

 

I am constantly amazed at how, though the NFL is extremely popular nationwide, no one in LA seems to watch it. Just straight up know nothing about it. Last year the only other person in my 15 person department who watched the NFL was another woman from KC who was a big Chiefs fan

So we're up with 5 minutes left. Let's see if we manage to blow it.

 

I don't care per se if Denver ends up winning, but a score here (of any kind) for 'em on this drive would be nice.
