It's crazy with the Eagles. Apparently, Ryan Mathews has yet to sign with the Eagles. It would be messed up if the Eagles take back their contract offer to Mathews. I'm not sure if they could do that. But, it just looks like a mess.

Did he even catch a TD last year? There was only one KC WR that caught a TD last year, right?

That's why the Niners/Harbaugh was in favor of Kaepernick over Smith.

A lot of Niners fan call him Alex "Check Down" Smith because the his penchant to throw to a TE or RB.

Smith is a better quarterback than Kaepernick.

That's what my brother keeps telling me and last season made it look that way.

Agreed. I was and am fearful that Kaepernick might be the next Michael Vick instead of the next John Elway. (all wore number 7 jerseys too).

kaep's main struggle is mental. he just puts too much pressure on himself. it's not that he shrinks from big moments, it's that he tries to do too much in big moments. the difference between smith and kaepernick is that kaepernick can be the best you've ever seen or the worst you've ever seen, while smith is pretty much always right in the middle.

I totally agree with you that Kaep's main problem is his mental game and the pressure he puts on himself. I think there's an immature factor too, which was evident when someone trolled him on Twitter and he got into it. I'm really hoping Kurt Warner could help Kaep with all those aspects.

    His mental game?

You mean trying to discern who's on his team and who's a DB?

    Without the Super Bowls.

Darren McFadden is a pitiful signing for the Cowboys. It's mega alum Jerrah giving money to an Arkansas kid who has proven he is inefficient in the league.

Then again, he never had a good O-Line in Oakland. Dallas has a much better one, even if they did have a career year last season.

Last year he had a really good offensive line - and ran for just over 500 yards. The offense was tilted more towards the pass, but Oakland has a solid line.

Especially in comparison to what we have in KC. Ben Grubbs should beef up our own line, I hope.

    *giggle*

Hope the Cowgirls have fun at 8-8 again with McFadden as their replacement for Murray.

Them signing Skrine makes a lot more sense now. He is a much better nickleback than he is a traditional CB. That is going to be a scary secondary next season.

Look at Greg Jennings when you bolt for the money. 2years, crappy QB's, out on the street.

Staying with Rodgers has its perks.

That's great and all but I just don't like signing wide outs to that much money

A week after Patrick Willis retired, so has his presumed replacement, Chris Borland. Now the Niners have a lot of holes to fill in the LB corps.
