Joe Buck is about five minutes from just calling Kaepernick "a giant turd."

He is a beast. Will be intresting to see if he can keep his play up because the next five teams on the schedule have great qbs.

As a Niners fan, it was painful to watch Kaepernick out there. It was obvious that his performance against the Cardinals last week carried over to this week against the Packers. Kaepernick's body language spoke loudly about him being the leader of the offense, which is not comfortable. You can tell by his teammates body language as well that they're losing confidence in Kaepernick. If Kae continues to struggle, I think he'll be pulled from the starting line up at the bye week.

Yeah, that article illustrates the problems with the 49ers (which pretty common knowledge among the fans), which is Jed York is an idiot. Letting Jim Harbaugh go was like Jerry Jones letting Jimmy Johnson go and Al Davis letter John Gruden go. And like Jones and Davis, York hired a really lame head coach.

I kind of hope the Niners are horrible enough to have the opportunity to draft another Cal QB in Jared Goff.

What an odd time to fire someone.

Well, the Raiders fired Dennis Allen at the same exact same time last year. Ironically enough, the Raiders fired Allen after getting hammered by Miami in London. Going into a bye week is probably the best time during the season to replace a head coach.

*sighs* Have discussed my feelings on coaches being fired before the season is over. Still after only four weeks?

NFL is such a tough sport to fire a coach midstream.

Well most people think this is 1 or 2 years too late and the first 4 games it looks like the team quit on him. The mentality is that there is enough talent on this team to compete and by getting rid of Philbin now and going with a better leader they have a chance to save this season. Plus it's their bye week so it gives the new coach a little extra time to prepare.

Edit: It should also be noted, that the Dolphins owner seems to have little to no clue how to run an NFL team.

As a Seahawk fan, I loved that the Niner's let Harbaugh go. As a overall football fan, it was a completely bonehead move. But hey, your new management found a guy who will be nice to the players now. [face_plain]
