If you need a fantastic defense, or an offensive line that always great, otherwise you wont succeed, then theres a small issue.
I'll put it this way...10 times out of ten I'll take Flacco of Eli. Ten out of ten id take Rodgers over Flacco.
I'd even take Andy Dalton, Bridgewater, Carson Palmer, Matt Ryan, and Tannehill over Eli. Not as often now, but at least 60% of the time. They'd give my teams better chances to win, and be better liked by the organization and locker room.

Put it this way, Point Given ID not take Brady over Flacco either. Brady is obviously better, that doesn't mean I like him for a franchise face for me.
As a fan just for the sake of winning without loyalties Brady, Roethelsberger, ID take in a heartbeat. Still over inconsistent Eli. Maybe Tannehill and Ryan were a stretch, but they've not been mired in controversy and sanctions by the league.
