Only problem is Oslo is fairly temperate compared to Finse (where they filmed the Hoth scenes). There'd be no snow

And the beer is apallingly expensive.

    WAMPA WAMPA WAMPA!

    :p

Anyone who was a kid living in the US at the time of ESB may know what I am on about! I saw it whilst in NJ a few years back ;)

Edit: This is one is close, but not the version I saw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlgqdWOM9Q0

I'm one of the only Americans here and I have no idea what you're talking about. Sorry. [face_laugh]

Regardless of where it is next time, anyone want to either come early or stay late with me and do some sightseeing around the vicinity? :D Paris and London were fun, but it's so, so boring sightseeing by yourself for more than a day or two. I need to find someone to go with next time I do the tourist thing.

Oh blow my cover will ya :p It was some daft advert where the kid screaming "Wampa wampa wampa", the Long Island / NYC FF seemed to find it hilarious :p

I am up for going a little earlier, in fact I was there on Weds this last time, just was quite busy on the Thurs hehe.

Oh no, I wasn't reffering to you ;) You were there already I think they should have just let you walk in once your ticket had been checked the first time. And as you say, having one stage outside was a really bad idea! The one I was reffering to will know who they are :p Their kid hit my shins with a lightsaber...guess the ooglith masquer didn't fool that padawan then ;)

    YES!!!

I always wanted to go there. Just never had the money at the right time :p

Though, does Reykjavik have a place big enough for a Celebration? :p

Norway, far up north so we can re-enact the Hoth scenes. [face_mischief]

Nordkapp? Or are you thinking even further up than that? Svalbard? :p

No, actually. I wanted to live in Nordkapp when I was younger, because you can see the Northern Lights, and Midnight Sun, and Polar Night, all in one place :p

And Svalbard just happens to be the name of Norway in the His Dark Material books, and I can remember the islands :p

I don't think the London Symphony Orchestra would go to Norway. Maybe the Oslo Orchestra :p

If it's going to be snowy and cold up there, instead of the Imperial March we could have March of the Penguins.

That dog should be on TV! :D

As long as he doesn't do both and sing the Star Wars song like Carrie did on Chewie's homeworld in the Star Wars Holiday *coughnotso* Special :p
