Regardless of where it is next time, anyone want to either come early or stay late with me and do some sightseeing around the vicinity? Paris and London were fun, but it's so, so boring sightseeing by yourself for more than a day or two. I need to find someone to go with next time I do the tourist thing.

No, actually. I wanted to live in Nordkapp when I was younger, because you can see the Northern Lights, and Midnight Sun, and Polar Night, all in one place

And Svalbard just happens to be the name of Norway in the His Dark Material books, and I can remember the islands
