meddler23 - Star Wars Reunion is more of a film marathon than a con as such, though there are some guests and other things than just films being shown.

    http://www.starwars-reunion2.com/?lp=uk

Still debating whether I can go, have to check when half term is.

So, the big question, will there be Celebration Europe II at all?

Unofficially, we believe it's 99% likely. But there has been no confirmation yet. I doubt we'll know until mid-2008.

Btw who did say that there'll be a CE II first? It was one of the actors, right?

Yup, it was Jay Laga'aia, but it wasn't official. He said that LFL had to book events for 2009 as well.
We met him after the Battle of the Bands, whilst almost being thrown out of the ExCel by the security. :p

Be stupid of LFL not to do future events, even if it's not another CE.

You've managed to talk to Jay about it?!? Wow. :D Jüri and I saw him only in the Autograph hall.
Did he say anything else interesting? :)

Nothing is set in stone. And there was plenty of stuff going on behind the scenes to suggest I wouldn't place your bets yet ;)

I still think it's stupid of them not to carry on doing big events, plus it would be crule on the fans not doing CE2 because things didn't 100% to plan with the organizing and the weekend its self.

Why are you complaining? London is relatively close to you, no need to worry about the flight and all.

I wouldn't mind CE being in London again. It's easy to get to and to move around, not to mention the language. However, I'll go to another CE if organized, to any place. :D

I like travelling though. I would want it to be somewhere vaguely interesting. Like Prague or Moscow :p

I'd want it to be cheap and easy to get to. If it was in another country I probably wouldn't be able to go.

You should do what I do. Half a quid, sometimes a little more, aside per day. Add it to the other savings and in two years you'll have enough money for accomodation and a cheap flight. ;) :p

That's a smart way of saving indeed. I might follow your example to save for the next Celebration. I might even save enough for a nice Fx Lightsaber. :)

    Ah, interest! Good stuff!
I earned 98kn (£10) :p of interes from my pay last summer. I put it all in a bank, to rest and collect interest until Celebration, and got enough money to buy a few comics extra at the con. :D
    :p

You only get interest if your bank accounts have money in them. Both of mine are in the red. :(

I did find a way to get some money fairly easily. If I do it then all the money I get will go into one account and I'll use it to do cool stuff with.

    No recent news yet, huh?

Anyway, London was great and I wouldn't mind going there again. It's an awesome city. As for saving money: I always put aside what I have left of my income at the end of the month. No fixed saving amounts, just what's left. Sometimes it's 250 euros, sometimes only 50.

Sansweet brought up some rumours at Jedi Con. but nothing more than that ther might just be another and that he wouldn't mind it being in Berlin.

    That's nothing much really.
