I'd wager (see what I did there...) that there will inevitably be a TLJ "casino" game marketed for us collectornerds. And Chip will come with it.

Chip featured as main segment in today's Star Wars Show.

    "Who is this little sweetie?"

"Look at this little cutie. Probably has a rich tapestry of a backstory. I bet it lives on that table."

"Probably sleeps under a little, cutie little cocktail napkin."

"When it wakes up in the morning, it drinks a little dew drop out of a little space thimble."

That was actually a surprisingly funny segment. Well done, Gutierrez and Carboni.

I hope we'll get something on Chip and Larry in the Canto Bight book.

Chip gives out entire packs of full size candy bars to each trick-or-treater... and gives their parents a 1,000 credit casino bar tab.

Ummmmmmmm guys... Chip's "official" name has been revealed. There are leaked pages of the Visual Dictionary floating around, and one in particular is the Canto Bight casino. I have not looked at the other pages because there will undoubtedly be spoilers, but I did briefly look at the casino page, thinking there was a chance our guy would be there. Sure enough, he's there alright. I'm not going to post the image, but I will tell you that the description of him is just as good as you'd expect. As for his name, I feel that it is my obligation to post it.

Of course, we will always know him as Chip, but to the casino, the city of Canto Bight, and the entire Star Wars galaxy he is known as
    Thamm

Chip's description from the Visual Dictionary:
Thamm is currently the most popular croupier on the gambling hall floor. His boisterous demeanor is encouraging to nervous gamblers, while his consoling nature helps cushion devastating losses. The tiny quadruped exudes an oddly pleasing aroma that helps put patrons at ease.
