OK, here's the plan.

Star Wars is seen everywhere, all over the world, and so it is in other movies.

This thread is to collect all those references to Star Wars in other movies in one Thread.


Example:

Name of Movie: Armageddon

Line/Reference:

A.J.:....who would you be?
Oscar: Me?... Han Solo!!!
A.J: No! If anybody is anybody, I0m Han, and you.....you are Chewbacca!
Oscar: CHEWIE??? Man, have you ever seen Star Wars?!?!?!?!

Later in the Movie...

A.J.: Ever heard of Evil Knievel???
Lev: No, I never saw Star Wars

In "Demolition Man", one of the policemen is using a kind of handcomputer. Then, Sylvester Stallone takes it and throws it away, saying: "Hey, Luke Skywalker, use the Force!"

 

this isn't a movie but, that sizzler commercial with obi-wan kenobi saying "use the forks, luke!" was hysterical.

In Mallrats Silent Bob is trying to use the Jedi Mind Trick throughout the entire movie. I would put the dialoug but there are so many cuss word it would make no sense. (for everyone who has seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about.)

 

In ET: the Extra Terrestrial, there were like 3 references.

One was when Elliot was going to show his older brother ET. The brother uses Yoda's voice ( I forgot what he was saying) right before he sees ET. (something like, refering to Elliot, "you have the greatest power)

Another one was Elliot showing ET his Star Wars figures collection, like Lando Calrisian and a whole bunch of minor figures.

last one was some kid was dressed like Yoda for Halloween.

 

Toy Story 2

Emperor Zerg (I can't spell his name): "Buzz, I am your father."

Buzz Lightyear: "Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!"
