Dark was the night when our tale begins in the docks of Flabagon.

A boat there was that rode down the rivers of Flabagon.

    The rivers of Flabagon...

In the boat, three there were in the boat of Flabagon.

Two men there were, and a single woman lay in the boat of Flabagon.

    The boat of Flabagon...

Down the river they rode, in the misty night of the docks of Flabagon.

Yet, in the city there lurked a single shadow in the town of Flabagon.

    The town of Flabagon...

The horse stepped down, and down again the city of Flabagon.

And in the river, the woman turned, to face the shadow of Flabagon.

    The shadow of Flabagon...

Cloaked in black, and on a black horse, he stood, in the shadows of Flabagon.

The woman was silent, turning to the man, and all three turned to the shadow of Flabagon.

    The shadow of Flabagon....

The shadow stood still, turning to the woman, who held a bundle, a bundle of Flabagon.

Paddle was the word, and paddle they did, through the rivers of Flabagon.

    The rivers of Flabagon...

Yet in the shadow, they could not deny... deny the great shadow of Flabagon.

    The shadow of Flabagon...

    The shadow of Flabagon...>>>>>

Down the river they rode, at twilight on the shores of Flabagon.

And followed they were, by the great shadow of Flabagon.

    The shadow of Flabagon...

And finally, they came to the end of the shores of Flabagon.

Yet on the other bank, there stood a lone rider, the shadow of Flabagon.

    The shadow of Flabagon...

He drew a sword, his eyes full of hell... the hell of Flabagon.

The hells of the eyes of the shadow of Flabagon!

Into the river, the lone horseman rode, the river of Flabagon.

And across the water, the three humans stood, unable to move on the shores of Flabagon.

    The shores of Flabagon...

And into their eyes, the dark devil stared, the devil of Flabagon.

And with a sudden urge, the single woman screamed, a scream of Flabagon!

    She ran!

Through the streets she ran, the streets of Flabagon.

And into a gallop, the dark horse sprang, trampling the other two to the ground, the ground of Flabagon.

    The ground of Flabagon...

And into the city, the dark horse ran, after the last witch of Flabagon.

And with a sudden gorge, the young girl stopped, the edge of Flabagon.

    The edge of Flabagon...

And with a twist of a head, she turned, to meet the hells of Flabagon.

Into her eyes, the dark one stared, the eyes of Flabagon.

    The eyes of Flabagon...

Her eyes burned like fire, penetrated by the stare of Flabagon.

She held the bundle tight, against her chest, the bundle of Flabagon.

    The bundle of Flabagon...

The dark one drew his sword, and helt it to her throat, the last throat of a witch of Flabagon.

But, suddenly, the bundle screamed, and startlingly, the dark one discovered it was a baby. The baby of Flabagon.

    The baby of Flabagon...

And with a trot, the horse went further, towards the baby of Flabagon.

But, with a cry, the woman retreated, back to the edge of Flabagon.

    The edge of Flabagon...

And with a dark hand from the fires of hell, the dark one grasped the bundle of Flabagon.

And suddenly, the last witch fell, into the gorge of Flabagon.

The dark hand placed his hand on the bundle, opened it up, and saw a monster.

    A monster of Flabagon...

And with a hand grasped, the dark lord held the monster over the gorge of Flabagon.

    The gorge of Flabagon...

But before he could let go, a bolt of energy fell from the skies of Flabagon.

With a cry, the dark one fell, the baby with him, and down they fell... down... down... down... to the ashes.

Bacon, my dear boy, I hated and feared math beyond all reason. Because of this I thought I was dumb because that's what I thought that people only wanted from me.

Guess what I do now. I program web sites now. Go figure! Hell, my college degree didn't even have anything to do with computers!

    Wise words, M'Lord Umbrus.

I myself used to hate math. After taking Precalc, though, I found I really enjoyed the subject. Now I'm moving into a math major...plu a history major...plus a pre-law program...and maybe philosophy...

    Sky's the limit!

Math can be fun. Calc was the best class I ever took. My teacher was amazing -- he'd explain concepts really well and make the hardest chapters from the book seem easy. I loved that class. Ahhh...limits...derivatives...sines and cosines...

    Now to write something...

    Hmmmmm....

    How 'bout favorite book quotes?

There she stood... her glistening hair enchanting my accursed face, her eyes making me blind, not in a bad way of course, only because I simply couldn't stand to look at such beauty. The girl was far too young for me... three years apart, I believe, yet I couldn't stand it. She was perfect. Born and raised by a pastor and his wife. I first saw her in the parking lot of K-Mart along with her brother and her father. I didn't even talk to her then, only when they came over for a little welcoming ceremony one night... her father was our new pastor at our church. I didn't think that much of it then, it was only until later when I discovered how nice, entertaining, open-minded, and fun to be around that I indeed liked her...

Yet, then, for me anyways, tragedy struck very recently. He had his own little secret, the absolute same secret that mine was... he liked her as well. Though I never thought he would do what he did... he asked her out before even telling me or giving me any notice! Or did he? Is "Just wait. You'll see. Trust me." a notice? Interesting...

Yet, he did ask her out, and I found myself stunned. I didn't believe it. I refused to believe it. My reaction was simple. I just DIDN'T believe him, until he gave me her reaction. "She has to ask her parents if she can have a boyfriend." It makes me sad. Perhaps if I had made a move first, I wouldn't be sitting here writing this. Sadly, I didn't, and now I'm sitting here, not depressed, not sad, not angry, nor confused, just nothing. No emotion at all. Nothing... :)

Just found this, and since my writing sucks, here's a bit from one of the fics in my sig (you'll figure out which)
What if Han Solo had been a farmboy on Tatooine??? What if Luke Skywalker had been a space pilot and captain of the Millennium Falcon? Well, here?s what I think would have happened:

STAR WARS EPISODE 4: A NEW HOPE

?Han! Get over here!? shouted Owen Lars.

?What do you want, Owen?? responded Han Solo as he ran over to his aunt and uncle?s homestead on Tatooine.

?Them Jawas are here. Lets go talk to them.?

?Whatever, Owen.? The two marched off to a Jawa Sandcrawler. The Jawas were unloading many droids.

?Han?? Han took off back to the homestead.

    ?What is it now, Beru??

?Tell your uncle that if he gets a protocol droid, make sure it speaks bochien.?

?I?ll tell him, but it doesn?t look like we have much of a choice.?

?You?re one of them protocol droids, right?? Owen asked a dirty gold droid.

    ?Yes, sir. I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations.?

    ?Do you speak bochien??

?Yes, sir. I am fluent in over 6-?

    ?Shut up.? said Han.

    ?Yes sir.?

Owen purchased the dirty gold protocol droid and an R5 astromech droid. Han was taking them back to the shed when the R5 blew up.

?Owen, this bloody unit?s got a bad motivator.?

Owen talked to the Jawas and Lars? ended up with R2-D2, at Threepio?s advice.

?Oh, this oil bath is going to feel soo good!? said Threepio.

?Can it, Goldenrod.? said Han as Threepio was lowered into the oil.

Well, the story went pretty much the same until Han stumbled upon a holo-recording in R2?s memory.

?Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You?re my only hope,? said the beautiful woman in the hologram.

?Damn, she?s hot!!!? Han shouted. ?I gotta get in those pants!?

?Excuse me, sir, but the temperature has not changed. And why would you want to wear a woman?s pants??

?Do you want my foot up your- . Oh, wait, droids don?t have those.... Well, do you want to be scrapped and sent to Kessel??

?I?m sorry, sir. I?ll shut down now.?

?Good,? Han said as he gazed and drooled at the beautiful woman in the hologram. He tried to kiss it, but he just shocked himself. Then the hologram shut down.

?Bring it back, you walking trash can!? shouted Han at R2-D2.

    ?Beep, whirr, blippp?

?Oh, a wise guy, eh? We?ll talk about this after I get some sleep!? With that, Han left to take a nap.

    To be continued......
