JCC The unofficially official "formerly known as" thread

I am an oldbie who returned to the JC after a long absence, and I don't recognize any of the usernames of my old buds, and I wondered if it's because they have all changed their names, now that it is possible to do so. So, if you were around in the "golden age" of the JC and are now going by a different name, please say so here! It will make things much less confusing, and it will help me to re-connect with some of my old pals. Thanks!

Hi jasman, I think I remember seeing YTAP on Monday. Not all the oldbies have gone out to pasture.

 

Why would an old one change their name?

 

IDk if I'm considered an oldbie, but I registered February of 2000. My former usernames were MaidenLumpé (and moderated the JC under that name) and carmenite. And various spinoffs of the two. I definitely remember you, but that was foreverago so...

 

I remember the name since I lurked a good while before I joined with my first rumsmuggler name.

 

Oldbie status isn't the exclusive property of the '98/'99ers.

I still kind of think anyone whose username doesn't start with a 9 isn't an oldbie. ONLY TWO MONTHS OUT.
