Honestly, we really screwed the pooch by tackling healthcare back in the 60s.

 

The news about Trump's conversation with Duterte is very troubling, IMHO. You've got Trump praising a leader for slaughtering 9000 people (with many being children) and then sharing sensitive intel in order to gain that leader's respect. It shows that this is a pattern of behaviour and not just about Russia specifically. He admires brutality and fascism and wants to be part of that club.

 

Of course. He thinks it makes him look tough. It's just another sign of his pathological insecurity.

 

So....apparently the GOP nominee for the Montana Congressional seat just assaulted a reporter.

LOL...Trump lies right to the Pope's face saying he'll read it..He wouldn't read it if he could, and he is most likely functionally illiterate anyway.

 

I don't see much of a point in viewing Donald Trump as actually human, though. Is there really any good reason to? I mean, I'm not saying he's a Lizard Person from Pluto or anything but why should he actually be afforded any status or respect as real humans are?

 

As am I - but I'm sure it's a coincidence that two southern states have the same attitude towards their employees.

Up until quite recently, I couldn't afford a decent health care plan with the state - and while I technically can now, I can't change plans until open enrollment in November.

 

He is certainly not an adult, but to be honest it's just as cruel to call him a child.

There is pretty much nothing good that can be said about him. He is the worst.

 

He's an adult with the emotional maturity of a small child. It's the combination of the two that's the problem.

Had the Xenomorph met Trump it would run with Its tail between his legs. I think Trump is the evilest thing in the universe. And to the Health insurance debate, My Sister and her kids are on Medicaid down here in Florida If Trump shuts down Medicaid my sister and her kids lose there health insurance. My nephew has Aspergers Syndrome and is on medication for it what does my sister do then? I am on GOV Health Insurance what do I do If Trump shuts down the Government? I know its really easy to pick on Obama care but a lot of people will lose Health care under Trump a lot more then under Obama. Also Kentucky Care Is Obama Care Tons of people In Kentucky are going to lose health insurance, what are they going to say then?

Gianforte should be under arrest at this time. There's simply no way around that without demeaning yourself.

 

He apparently claimed the journalist tried to assault him... yeah, not what other witnesses (from FOX) are saying, and not what the audio-tape sounds like.

He sounds legitimately crazy and unhinged.

 

But Montana has never produced unhinged right-wingers.

Fox News has apparently made no mention whatsoever of Gianforte's assault on their television shows this evening. They're covering it online, but even though their own reporters were on scene, they are choosing not to discuss it in any way.

Misdemeanor and not felony assault, despite tackling Jacobs to the ground and then attempting to punch him. He also may technically have fled the scene by leaving when he did. He was merely issued a "citation" and is not under arrest.
