I had heard rumors about this, since I am legal counsel for the PR Housing Department, and I actually served as part of the bidding review board 10 years ago, but I didn't know any details. First the Whitefish contract tied to the Secretary of the Interior, now this. All Trump guys. SAN JUAN – The contract to manage reconstruction of homes affected by Hurricane María under the Tu Hogar Renace (Your Reborn Home) program is being halted after one of the bidding companies contested that the accord was being awarded to another company that allegedly did not meet requirements of the request for proposals (RFPs).

This news literally made my incredibly busy day at the hospital.

 

It's a fundamental misunderstanding of human migration not limited to Trump. Generally speaking, people don't leave their homelands if they are happy, healthy, feel safe and have decent incomes. Norwegians fled to the United States because of poverty; today that's not an issue for them.
