The formula is "Flood the nation with assault rifles priced to move and tell people over and over and over that they're being patriotic just by making a purchase." I can't think of a better method to make sure that the most dangerous guns will find their way into the hands of the people most likely to use them.

 

I'll be honest I do not really debate as I used to as the religious crowd dropped dramatically and in politics it was sort of like debating whether or not Boba Fett survived beyond ROTJ, I could only go over the same crap every day so many times. It is an odd contradiction that I think there are more diverse view points right now, but I might not see a debating point as I tend to agree with them since as people have pointed out the Right Wing does not have as many numbers here any more.

I understand the need for someone to argue with. At the same time I prefer conversation of like minds to broken record nonsense. I mean really, the economy under Obama became incredible yet someone can sit there and tell people it was in shambles? There is no debate for that, it's just nonsense.

 

The thread seems fine as-is to me. Light discussion punctuated with moments of absurdity. This isn't some sort of symposium.

I don't think you can make any case for why it was a good idea to vote trump so getting into a discussion with a Trumper is a Pointless task. Liberals and Democrats better get it together and start thinking on the same page or we will never get rid of Trump. I find It hard to believe that with the Peaceful Buddhist message in Star Wars that any Star Wars fan would like Trump with all the hate he spews.

yes there is wars and fighting but that is not the central note of the Films It Is about heroes doing the right thing and even if it wasn't the popular thing it was the right thing. And good Triumphing over evil. But there were under currents of Buddhism in the Force especially the Things Yoda Preached...
