NM, have some faith man. They're a good team and it isn't carzy to think they have a shot this season. [face_peace]

If they can shoot themselves in the foot, they will try it.

Yeah, I know. I'll stop. But I have every sympathy with the Shark fans. Been there.

Any of the other games in Vancouver easily could have gone like this- they haven't been bad goals, like they were in Boston.

As usual. They never do it, and they never, ever will.

Oh, *very* smart. An unperforming winger with a big, long contract.

Ah, it's going to be a year as of old. That is, bad.

So the Canucks play the Avalache at home. The Av coach has watched the Stanley Cup playoffs, and the Avs come on like a crappy version of the Bruins. Sticks flying, as well as elbows, and alas knees. The Canucks stink and are thoroughly outplayed in the first period, which ends 1-0 for the home side, due to a flukey goal. The Canucks improve in the second, but the Avs are still better. That ends 2-0 for the Canucks. Luongo is knocked out by a puck to the throat and Schneider comes in.

Third period sees a 4-aside during which the 'Nucks score two goals, and they add two more. Except for the goalies, they don't play particularly well, and still win 6-0. Go figure.

So on Sunday, they are in Montreal. Early in the second, they are down 3-0 mainly because Luongo is beyond terrible. Mason Raymond gets a SH goal. Then in the third, Cody Hodgson gets a goal and Sami Salo gets a PPG. It's 3-3. In the shoot out, Hodgson gets another and it's 4-3, mainly because Luongo stops all the Hab shooters. So they win again, still without playing well. The Hab coach: "It's special teams."

    No kidding.

Up against The Best Team in the League (aka Minnesota Wild) tonight. Minny hates Van because of comments made by Todd Bertuzzi (now with Detroit)
