So, what's everyone up to at the moment?

I'm re-reading Star By Star again, since it's one of my favorite books.

I was going to read Iron Fist again, but I decided against it. I am sort of at a loss for reading material until The Unifying Force hits, cause I told myself I wouldn't re-read the NJO until everything was out.

EDIT: Since you're reading Star By Star Garrett, shouldn't you change your sig?

I'm re-reading Lisanne Norman's Fortune's Wheel, which is the 2nd in a 7 novel series. The 7th book came out this year, and I'm re-reading to remember what has happened.

    Good Sci-fi novels...

I am also contemplating picking up some Anne Rice novels, as I have heard they are pretty interesting. That, and Tom Cruise's performance as Lestat in Interview With the Vampire sort of has me interested in reading more about the character.

EDIT: Drat, I remembered I wanted to read some Robert A. Heinlen stuff too. I have been itching to read Starship Troopers ever since the TV show, so who knows. That, and maybe some Phillip K. Dick, I love the movies based off his work: Total Recall , Blade Runner, A.I., Minority Report, etc. and they are all short fiction so I could get through those rather quickly

    GAH! Too much to read!

I want to read Timeline again before the movie comes out.

    And The Lost World, too.

Man, go read a good Michael Crichton novel like Sphere or Airframe. I love Timeline, but Paul Walker!?

Damn if Timeline wasn't a good book!! I remember saying to myself when I finished it that it would be so good as a movie.

    And, voila!

I can't wait for the movie...

Yeah, I really liked Timeline, don't ge me wrong. I am just wary that after Sphere the movie, they are just going to turn Timeline into another Paul Walker movie. I really loved the character of Andre in the book, but it looks like the reduced him to secondary in the movie. :(

From the trailer, the movie is going to be extremely different from the book, but I'm hoping in a good way.

We should make seeing timeline an event, Mr. Celebrations Coordinator.

Courtship is an awesome book. There's some better examles of Dathomir though, assuming that's why you like it so much. ;)

You didn't get it Michael?! How could you!?

And GB, that's the most clever title I've ever heard.

Due to my lack of TUF, I've decided to re-read The Return of the King so I will remember what is going on when the film comes out.

You must read TUF the second you receive it. I cannot emphasize that strongly enough.

And don't tell me anything about it. I won't get to it for a couple months and I've already had part of it ruined for me. Grrrrr.

Just a hint, buy it off the internet or have it delivered to your house from the local BN. I saved $7.50. :p

Of course, you'll probly get it from your Science Fiction Book Club, but whatever.

Woo, finished TUF, then started re-reading Survivor, Fight Club, and Lullaby. Then I re-read Wraith Squadron, and now I am about halfway through Iron Fist, but I have to juggle it with re-reading Les Mis for English. Phew.
