Oregon The Victory Thread

Well, seeing as we constantly try to take over the boards here a lot, we may as well have a thread specifically for victory shouts, to keep track of who we should keep from taking over again, and to make that victory all the larger!!!

*cackles maniacally*

 

So, in coronation of the thread, I declare myself (today's) victor (for now)!!!

 

I did a recon. of the Phoenix Fan Force, and they seem a lot more organized than we are. They may even have some "smart people" running the place.

I think we don't stand a chance.

I say, lets surrender now, embrace our new Masters, and move down to Arizona where it is warm.

 

No way I love it here. We have trees and plants, green is where it's at!

 

Now, I don't mean to say that Vengeance and Larena are not smart....they are brainiaks and well deserving of our praise.

 

Speaking of (it being green)...

Larena_Jade - how can we change the OFF graphics? I'm curious if we can addthe custom graphics or if we're forced to use one of a set of available graphical interfaces.

Yes, we can change the banners and such for the page! We can do colours as well, but that takes a little effort and some correspondence. It's a lot easier if you find the colours of another board and use their's since the template is already made. There was a banner and all that I had made that we used for awhile, but the server it was on went down and TFN didn't have a backup, so it has since been lost to the ebb and tide of the Internet. Was supposed to make up another one, but have yet to get to it. You're more than welcome to give it a go, though, hehe. As for how it works, we just decide on a new set of graphics posted by one of our fellow posters, get a hold of an RSA, and then they'll do it from there.

Anywho, I'll send you the information for dimensions and such

If anyone else wants to give it a go, we can throw 'em all together into a thread on vote on which one we like best!

It took the PFF several years and some folks that do that kind of stuff for a living to get the boards where they are today. HOWEVER, lets not move down to PHX. I like the trees and there are no scorpions here. At least, not in MY house.

 

We're Oregon.....that should be sufficient to explain our predicament. we"re screwed, lol

 

Hey - Here's what I came up with for the OFF Custom Graphics.

I went tieh an Endor theme (sans Ewoks). You can see Mt. Hood in the corner. I was trying to come up with a Kashyyk theme as well, but I'm having trouble finding nice images of the planet. Maybe when I can check out the library's copy of the Art of Revenge of the Sith I'll be able to scan some stuff. Anyway - criticism is welcome.

That is beeyoutiful!! Nothing like a little personalization to make a board yours. I like the fact that there is NO DESERT (and I don't mean cake) in the banner. None at all. YAY!!!
