I don't really like having a late first round pick in this draft.



EDIT: I thought we took Ike off of the PL? Oh well.

 

Why do you think EF, Shurron and I were the judges in the last one? We kicked everyone's tail in the first one (Though I was 3rd )

Yeah and so I should have won this past draft then. But rankings from the first draft mean nothing obviously.

And last pick? Boo. All my faves will be long gone by then I'm sure.

Marcus, you have an awesome position in the draft. You can see how everyone is going, team wise, and you get two picks in a row. I like that position personally. I had it one time in some draft, and it worked out nicely.

 

Atleast you aren't in the ******* middle. Getting back-to-back picks is never bad.

Yeah, the middle is unfortunate, but at least we don't have a long rebound session

Like Cloud was never going to be first pick (depending on Good/bad teamness etc...)

 

three drafts in, and every draft has seen a Final Fantasy VII character go first overall.

 

After Advent Children it's apparent Cloud has just got soooo much ability.

The minor points he lacks in respect to team battles is far outweighed by his damage dealing and summon ability (Lack of KOTR and other uber boost materia)


All round, I personally cannot see anyone better in the draft.

 

Without prep, there are a few better, actually.

 

Oh, you guys are talking about him taking Cloud? I was talking about the team name.

 

The Teamname is mine and I'm considering getting it trademarked.



Re others better than Cloud.

I agree that there probably are but for the team I have planned (working on worst case team battle scenario) I think he's the perfect choice for my team.


I can only really think of one who could be better (and did beat Cloud last time round as well)

Boy no surprises with any of those two. I bet I can call the next pick, maybe even two depending on which way the GM decides to take with the team.

Considering that three of the next four are new to this specific draft, idunno if its gonna be that easy Inty. And we hae to consider who the returning GM picked last draft. *cough*MasterChief*cough* IIRC.

Tsk, tsk. Such negative thinking. I think they'll do wonderfully. I have faith in my fellow human beings... unless one of them is really a gerbil. I don't trust gerbils. They're all teeth.

And I wouldn't say it's quite that simple, Intykins. A certain new addition has turned the elite six into an elite seven, IMHO.

EDIT: Hey, hold on there a sec... something just clicked upstairs when I looked over the draft order just now. I could've sworn I saw WINDEX sign up for the draft on the first page, and then I didn't see his name anywhere in the order here. So, yeah, I looked back, and he did sign up. He signed up in the #7 spot, and then, when the next person signed up, they also took the #7 spot and removed WINDEX's name from the list.

... Shenanigans, perhaps?
