Before - Legends The War of Koras:A Saesee Tiin Fan Fic

Okay, this is my first Fan Fic so I hope you guys will like it. It takes place a little before a decade prior to the Battle of Naboo.It's about Saesee Tiin, and how he became a Jedi Knight. It's pretty long, so I won't Post all of it now.Heres the first 2 chapters.

Saesee Tiin:The War of Koras
Chapter One
Saesee Tinn waited in the seat of the crimson colored Republic Cruiser, the Radiant II. A small droid came up holding a tray of multicolored drinks. He looked at them and picked up a bright green liquid. He recognized it as Andoan Ale, a drink which his master, Omo Bouri was very fond of. Saesee sighed. He missed his master. This was his first mission on his own. A very important one too. This mission decided if he would become a Jedi Knight or not. The trials, as master Yoda had called it. He took a drink of the Ale and it trickled down his throat. He looked out the viewport as millions of stars flew by. He was fascinated by hyperspace, starships and anything that had to do with piloting. He was a good pilot himself, as Master Omo had said. Saesee sighed again. As he looked out the viewport he could dimly see the opening at the end. That meant they were going to exit hyperspace soon, and that meant the journey would be over soon. The Cruiser came out of hyperspace. Ahead of him Saesee could see the green, mineral rich world of Koras. Koras was famous for its large supply of crystalline vertex. Even Koras was a poor planet, and a mining company called Brightstar, lead by Jeres Noles was planning on buying Koras and turning into a mining planet. Saesee was there to prevent that from happening because Koras was a planet in the Republic, and the Jedi had promised its safety to Kasha Noru, the senator from that planet. A few negotiations would settle that he thought. He saw two small ships flying towards the cruiser. Saesee recognized the Brightstar logo on the ships; it was a silver crescent moon. He heard the pilot speak to them through the comn unit. ?This is Radiant II requesting permission to land.? No answer came. The pilot repeated.
?This is Radien-?before he could finish the two ships opened fire.
Chapter Two
Saesee ran to the pilot seat but the blast from the ships had killed the pilot. On the control panel it said
Hangar Bays Open. ?The ships must have landed on the ship,? Saesee thought. He pressed the activator button on his lightsaber. The green blade hummed to life. He ran into the passenger bay just in time to see the doors open. Four Black Uniformed officers each with a helmet and blaster pistol ran out of the hanger bays. They also had the Brightstar logo on their helmets ?Get the Jedi!? one yelled, seeing his lightsaber. The first one fired two shots. Using the Force, Saesee saw that the bolts were heading right for him. He blocked one shot with his lightsaber and sent the other bolt back to the officer. It hit him in the shoulder. ?Ahh!? he yelled falling to the ground. The second officer was about to fire but Saesee ran up, kicked the blaster out of his hand, and hit him in the shoulder with his lightsaber. He sliced the third officer?s blaster in half and then, with his lightsaber hilt, struck him in the jaw. The last officer fired at Saesee but he blocked it and sent it flying away. Saesee jumped away right in front of a large pole. The officer tried to punch him but Saesee ducked. His fist hit a button on the control panel on the pole
and suddenly, the wall broke open, revealing space, and the officer flew out. Grabbing on to the pole, Saesee realized that while he was fighting, he had gone into the hangar bay, and the officer had just opened the hangar bay doors. While he thought, Saesee?s lightsaber flew out of his hand into space. ?My lightsaber!? he called but it had already flown out. He quickly pressed the button and the hangar bay doors closed. He had to get on Koras and the Republic Cruiser had been too badly damaged during the attack. Seeing the two Brightstar ships, he jumped in to one of them. Turning on the sublight engines, Saesee flew out of the cruiser and towa

 

Chapter Three
Saesee piloted the sleek craft on to a large gray platform on the snowy planet of Koras. As he landed the craft, he saw 18 officers, much like the ones Saesee had fought, come out of the airbase in which he had landed. He got out of the ship, and put his hands on his head as the officers aimed their rifles at him. Saesee could have taken them, but he decided not to. Two officers came and put Vibro-Cuffs on him. One spoke with a loud voice ?You are under arrest for stealing a Brightstar vehicle without authorization.? The officers escorted him inside of the Airbase into a large prison cell.
?Jeres Noles will be with you shortly,? the officer spoke again. ?I highly doubt that,? Saesee said, as calm as ever. He could easily break out of the cell with the force as his ally. The officer gave him a look, and then told three of the officers to stay guard, as he and the others left. Saesee looked around for the first time, and noticed something, there were four other people in their with him. He saw one man, a Zabrak, a Wookie, and a Devorian. They were all so young, Saesee thought. ?Who are you?? the man asked. He seemed to be a leader of the small group.
?My name, is Saesee Tiin. I was sent here by the Republic to ensure the safety of Koras.?
The man looked at him. ?Are you a Jedi?? he asked.
Thinking that these people could be of no harm to him Saesee said ?Yes. I have answered your questions now you answer mine. Who are you, and why are you imprisoned?? The young man looked up at him. ?My name is Jareth Klon.? Then pointing to the Devorian he said ?that?s Ulath Farn, the Zabrak?s Eesh Kaylar and the Wookie?s Shorath. We are the remains of a starfighter squadron called the Freedom Sons. Even though we?re good pilots, we were outnumbered by the brightstar?s space fleet. Some of us died, and the rest of us where imprisoned.? Then as if reading Saesee?s mind he said ?It isn?t as easy to escape as you think. Our friend Mylon tried to get out of here two days ago. He was captured and killed.?
Saesee felt pity for the group, and decided to help them. ?Ah,? he said with a smirk. ?Your friend was not a Jedi was he?? Jareth looked up at him with a smile.
Chapter Four
?If you?re a Jedi, how come you don?t have your laser sword?? Ulath, the Devorian, asked him.
?I lost it while fighting some officers,? Saesee replied. ?Now stand back and be quiet, I need to concentrate.? Saesee concentrated. He made a Force push towards the door. Ulath, who had not listened to Saesee, asked ?If you don?t have you laser sword, how are you going to-? before he could finish the door to the cell flew outwards and the group got out.
?That?s how,? Saesee said. Ulath stood there and just stared where the door had been. The guards, hearing the loud noise, turned around and aimed there blasters at them. ?Eesh, Shorath,? Jareth called. Immediately the Wookie and Zabrak ran forward with their fists in the air and punched two guards in the face. The guards fell down, unconscious. The third guard stood there looking at them in terror.
?Would you care to do the honors?? Saesee asked Jareth. ?Gladly,? he replied as ran forward and kicked the guard in the jaw. The last guard fell down.
Saesee looked at him. ?Let?s go. Is there a comn station in here?? he asked. ?Follow me,? Jareth said.
?Wait,? said Eesh. ?We?re in a Brightstar base; shouldn?t we take some weapons first?? Shorath growled. ?What is he saying?? Saesee asked. ?He says he knows where there?s a small armory in the base,? Ulath translated. ?Says he saw it when they captured us and put us in the cell. Come on I?ll take you there.? So they ran on until they came to the armory, five guards were there. They shot at them when the group got there. Saesee dodged the bolts and kicked one guard in stomach. Jareth punched another guard in the stomach, and then gave him an uppercut. Shorath took two guards and slammed them together. Ulath and one guard where busy strangling each other when Eesh came up and snapped the guards neck. ?You okay?? he said to Ulath when he noticed

 

Very Very cool. Good for the first time poster but if i may make a sudjestion - Try to put spaces inbetween your paragraphs. Makes it easer to read. Most newbies seem to put them all to gether - i did!

I am totaly waiting for the next post. Keep it up!

 

Chapter 5
Ulath was about to open the door when Saesee grabbed his arm and said ?Wait!?
?What is it?? he asked. Saesee looked up.
?I sense people outside, twenty of them.? Saesee said.
?What do we do now?? Jareth asked.
?Oh come on, we can take ?em,? Eesh said. Shorath roared his agreement.
Saesee used his telepathic mind. He ran plans through his head, seeing what would happen if he used them. He chose the best one and spoke to the group.
?Wait, I have an idea. You guys stay back. When I tell you to, shoot the door open.? Saesee said. They moved back. Using the Force, Saesee saw how many people were in front of the door. Two on the left, three on the right. ?Now! Saesee yelled to the group. They fired the door open. Two on the left, three on the right, Saesee said to himself as he ran through the door. Using the Slugthrower he shot the two guards on the left. One guard at the right came at him Saesee kicked him in the stomach. The guard threw his slugthrower in the air. Saesee caught it and shot the other guards. All this happened in five seconds. Tossing the slugthrower to Ulath, he yelled ?Come on!? to the group. During his time with them Saesee had noticed that Ulath was the weakest of the group. He stopped. So did the others. ?There is another fifteen guards past the corner.? He said. ?See that hunk of stone?? They nodded when Saesee pointed to a big piece of stone in the room. ?You go hide behind that and shoot from there. I?ll cover you,? he finished. As soon as they started running blaster bolts flew past them. Saesee used the force to send the shot away from them. When they where safely behind the stone, Saesee himself force jumped to them. More guards came. As Saesee and the others fired more and more guards went down. When there were only four more left, Saesee force pushed them all down. ?Lead me to the comn stations!? he yelled to Jareth. They ran quickly to the comn station. Saesee went up to the station and punched in the coordinates for Coruscant. ?This is Jedi Knight Saesee Tiin requesting help from the Jedi council! I am currently on Koras and need reinforcements as soon as possible.? Suddenly a metal slug flew into the comn station as sparks flew out. He turned around and ran into a guard. Using his slugthrower as a stick, he hit the guard first in the stomach, then twirling the slugthrower into the guards jaw, and finally swept it low near his feet in order to trip the guard. As he came out of the room he saw the others had also been busy with the guards.
?Is the Republic coming?? Jareth asked.
?It won?t be for some time Saesee answered. ?In the mean time, we?ll need some help. Are there any other prisoners?
?Just follow me!? Jareth yelled as they all ran from the comn stations.
Chapter 6
Approximately half an hour later, Saesee was looking at the odd bunch. Some of prisoners they had set free were real criminals, and others innocent freedom fighters, like the Freedom Sons, who had been caught by Brightstar. They had armed as many of the prisoners as they could, but most had durasteel
bars or poles. ?What do we do know?? Jareth asked.
?We have to get out of here,? Saesee replied. He then turned around and spoke to the prisoners.
?Come on follow me!? but as they ran out the building they were suddenly surrounded by Brightstar guards. Then a man in no armor came up.
?What?s this? A Jedi Knight of the Republic? You have failed horribly young one. Koras belongs to Brightstar, not a band of rebels. Now surrender or you will die.?
Chapter 7
Saesee winked at Jareth before stepping up to man, who he knew was Jeres Noles. With a scared look on his face, Saesee knelled down and said ?Oh, I?m so sorry sir. Please don?t hurt us!? but just as Jeres began to smile he jumped up and punched Jeres in the face. Immediately the guards began firing and the prisoners began rioting. Though they were out numbered and outgunned the prisoners were doing pretty good?.at first. More and more of them fell until finally, Saesee, Jareth, Ulath, Eesh, and Shorath were the only ones left. How

 

Chapter 8
Saesee, Jareth and the others all followed Saesee?s lead as they tracked down Jeres Noles.
?Look there he is!? Eesh yelled as a Saesee picked up a Z-95 on his scanners. ?Get him!? he yelled. Shorath yelled as two Brightstar fighters came behind them. Shorath?s ship suddenly turned around as Shorath engaged the fighters. He fired two concussion missiles at them. They fired back with lasers damaging Shorath?s ship but the concussion missiles finally caught up with them and destroyed them. Saesee saw Shorath?s ship on fire slowly spiraling down towards the atmosphere of Koras. ?Get out of there!? Eesh yelled. Just as the ship spiraled down towards the planet Saesee could see Shorath, who had jumped out in a flight suit and oxygen mask. More fighters came on their tails. There where five when Saesee last counted but many more had arrived. Ulath?s voice went over the comn channels. ?Eesh and I will take these goons. You two get Jeres.? Saesee and Jareth now chased Jeres. Jareth was right on his tail but Jeres kept twisting and turning. ?I can?t get a lock on him!? Jareth yelled. ?Shoot lasers straight towards his lead, I have an idea.? Saesee replied. As red laser darts fired right in front of Jeres, Jeres quickly turned in order to avoid the fire. While he was turning Saesee got a lock on him and fired two missiles. He watched them until they went straight into Jeres?s hull and exploded. ?We did it!? Jareth yelled. ?C?mon,? replied Saesee. ?Let?s go home.?
Chapter 9
Eesh and Ulath?s Headhunter?s came into view as Saesee and Jareth were returning to Koras. ?Good job Saesee!? Ulath congratulated. Saesee was about to reply when suddenly, something happened. He felt a ripple in the force, as if it had suddenly started raining on a sunny day. Something?s wrong, he thought. Something?s happened! ?Saesee?...? Ulath said. ?You okay?? but Saesee could not hear them. What?s wrong? He thought again. Then suddenly it came to him. ?Master Bouri!? he yelled as he headed down towards the planet.
Chapter 10
As Saesee landed on Koras and jumped out of the Headhunter he saw a young girl, a Jedi, kneeling down, and right by her, lying on the floor, was Master Omo Bouri. Saesee ran towards them. ?What happened?? he said. His heart sank when he saw his master, lying on the ground, possibly dead. ?He?he saved me. He saved all of us.? Said the young Jedi girl, obviously shocked. Master Omo slowly lifted his head. ?Sa-Saesee?is th-that you ?? ?Yes Master? he replied. ?You have be-become?a Jedi Knight.? Those were master Omo?s last words. The girl, a human, spoke with tears in her eyes. ?We were surrounded by battle droids that came out of nowhere. He wasn?t with us, we were to worried to wonder where he was. Suddenly he jumped in with us, his lightsaber in his hands, as he destroyed dozen?s of battle droids. He was?shot.? Saesee sighed. A little creature and a man walked towards him. The little creature was Yoda, head of the Jedi Council. The man was Kasha Noru, senator of Koras. ?Done well, you have Saesee Tiin. Passed the trial?s you have.? Looking down he at Omo he said ?Part of the Force, death is. All things, must die, eventually.? Though he would not show it Saesee was crushed. Master Omo was a great Jedi Master and highly respected. He had expected a bit more of a reaction from Yoda. ?I understand Master Yoda,? he said, even though he did not. Then the Senator spoke. ?My name is Kasha Noru, I?m the senator of Koras,? he reached out a hand. Saesee shaked it. ?I?m sorry about your Master. I?m sure he would have been as proud, as I am. You have saved my planet Saesee, please accept this gift.? He pointed over to a large fighter. ?It is a Sorro-Sub Cutlass 9 fighter. A very maneuverable and armed ship. It belongs to you now.? Saesee went over to it and placed his hands on it. It was a great ship. Saesee had read Holo-files on it was happy to own one of his own. ?Thank you,? he finally managed to say. The senator nodded and moved away.
Chapter 11
Back on Coruscant, Saesee walked over to the smal
