FF:QLD The War Room - QLDFF Events Planning Thread

Well, since Smokin Aces isn't out yet that pretty much leaves 'Stranger than Fiction' and 'For Your Consideration'. I'm interested in seeing both, though I'd prefer to see 'Stanger than Fiction'. I also cool with Saturday evening at the Myer Centre. Can't do Sunday though, cause I gotta work (sigh) again.

 

I saw Stranger Than Fiction yesterday. Was quite good. Very differant. I liked it.

 

I'm up for some movie watching tomorrow night. Was loooking around at some of the different options: Globe: nothing on. Dendy: cool stuff! Yatala Drive in:kids stuff. Oooh I haven't looked at the open air thing at the powerhouse..but then it might be raining tomorrow huh?

If someone more organised ( right now) than me thinks up a plan of attack for tomorrow night..POST

Or we could jsut crash Kahlans house and watch whatever for really cheap!

 

Crashing at Kahlan's works fine for me. If that's what's on, I can come straight from work. I finish at 4, and it's basically just around the corner.

 

Well I certainly have no problem with meandering to K's at some point or another

Hey well if you want to do a movie night thing at my place that's cool. Anytime after 5 is probably cool with me if you guys want to do this.

yeah bring stuff. comfy chairs would be good! COMFY CHAIR!!!! No body expects....

umm..yeah, snacks, and drinks if you want them. Dinner if you want to eat ..better still bring me KFC chips.

Actually..and this isn't really for tomorrow but something I was thinking on since the last time I watched stuff at the Boon sitting on the floor. Need cheap low seats for when there's stacks of us watching something. Maybe we should all invest in a bean bag..beach chair..lilo..something we can bring to these things LOL

 

I have one of those huge bean bags that seats two, although so long as they don't mind being close together... Nudge, nudge, wink, wink Say no more... Ahem, anyway I'll need a means of getting it there as it is too big to carry it while I cycle to your place Verse knows I've never had a reason to use it...

 

Oh come on G.. I want to SEE you riding with a double bean bag stretchy strapped to your back!!!

Hehehe as much as I'd love to join ya's all (and see G cycling around with a bean bag) Tomorrow night I'll be running around the Bullets basketball game dressed in my new Jedi outfit I'm so excited!
