I can't do the 3rd x___x All of my school people are turning 21 this year and at least two of them are celebrating on the 3rd... gah-hah!

 

Sunday 25th? 8am (For Brekky) to 9pm.

I don't want to get up that early on a Sunday, honestly.

 

Wait, sunday actually has an early? I thought that was just the dregs of a Saturday night?

 

Okay okay..wait a second
How long is series one of Robotech going to take? 8 hours? 20?

Could we do it over two separate weekends maybe. I mean I LOVE our all nighters, but it does really mess up Sunday.

COuld we do every night for a week, for 2 hours? LOL
Maybe we should all jsut MOVE IN to someone's house for a week and have it running on 3 different DVD players at different episodes.

My place would actually be okay now if there was an overwhleming desire to do it tonight( robotech that is), but hey I already said no I'd rather not. Everyone's thought about planning other stuff, and now as usual as a group we've nothing planned and everyone's run off screaming!

The Robotech thing's not going to happen tonight. That whole plan collapsed in on itself. Anybody got any plans for tonight? I'd like to get together, if there's anything on. Otherwise I guess I'm having a quiet night at home.

So far in group discussion between Murder and myself we've nominated Morgans Projector for Wii, and his lounge room. Morgs we haven't contacted LOL..and His lounge is out!

Can I move my place to The Gap and we'd all be happy?!

Same with here, I only just got home after a family gathering. Of coures if anybody wants to get me as it were I'm happy to attend

 

Cripes, Kahlan, now I'm trying to imagine the pure, unbridled insanity of WarioWare played on a projector...

Good times were had by all last night at Kahlans. All I can say is that if Nintendo wanted to make an absolute mint, they'd start buying up breweries, distilleries and bottle shops, and begin marketing lines of Wii-branded alcohol. It's not that you have to drink to have a good time, it's that there are many things alcohol can make way more entertaining, and leaping around like a complete moron waving a bit of white plastic is definitely one of them.


Back to Robotech, though. Let's at least make a token effort of doing this in an orderly, diplomatic, organised fashion (yeah right... ). Everybody interested in coming, post their available/preferred times.

If it's going to be this coming weekend, I can do Friday night, but not Saturday. If it's the following weekend, I can't do Friday, but I can do Saturday if it starts more around the 7-ish kind of time.

I'm foolishly going to attempt to make a list of this, and figure it out from there. I think I'm a masochist...

 

Well as far as it goes for me next Friday is not doable, Saturday is availible as is Sunday. The following weekend being the first week of March I have at this point nothing schedualled.

While this is completely unhelpful, I'm available pretty much anytime except for Sunday the 25th of February. I also suspect I have something on Saturday the 3rd of March, but I have to check that.

However I will try to support whatever days BBN champions; in my mind we're doing this largely for his benefit after all.

Robotech Marathon.
Hard to nail down a definate date. Planning Continues. This show was epic. It's worth seeing!


SupaNova.
April 13-15, Ekka Grounds. Refer to its thread. People are planning a variety of costumes, including Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, X Men, Wonder Woman, possibly the Matrix again.


Hot Fuzz.
Starts March 15. Kahli's thread is here.




Longer-term items include: Arrested Development Marathon, Pirates of the Carribean 3, QldFF goes to the V8s (Winter), Transformers, Ninja Turtles, the arrival of Goob's 3rd decade.

 

24/25 (this weekend I think...) is not good for me.
10th of March could be problematic if you plan on starting early. I've a party at 1pm (that I don't particularly want to go to) but it is over at Marsden so it is quite a drive to wherever on the northside. Having said that can something, anything, be arrange for the night of the 10th - I've a feeling I'm going to need to socialise with real people.

 

Real people are overrated sometimes.

Pity Sammich didn't just film us all discussing when to actually hold this marathon over the last few weeks. It'd be the geek equivalent of Metallica: Some Kind of Monster!
