What's up with some of the characters looking like they are stuck in the '80's like Lobo & the thanagarians?

Lobo's post "Omega Men" look has been his main look, since the character was given an overhaul, years ago. The difference being that he bulked up and his hair's longer. As to the Thanagarians, the general Silver Age look is what's perfered. None of the Post Crisis issues or the more recent version of Carter Hall.

Brainiac 5 was introduced in 1961 and has had his origin rebooted following the original Crisis and at the start of the more recent LOSH relaunch, which is tied to Superboy Prime's smashing the barrier to Alex Luthor's heaven, causing distortions to the Post Crisis continuity. For the animated series, it'll be much less complicated.

It'd be great to see Ultra Boy on the Legion show. He had the coolest costume and I like the whole one power at a time thing. Plus, Penetra-vision is a cool name for a power.
