Wow, j-m-t! :) That's a beautiful list that you have there, and I'm sure it will be of use to many people. Even for those who have experience at having their own websites, it does give us another avenue to check out! :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Please.....if you have links for resources that you use/like, post them here and I will add them. Also, if you are a guru with a software program or code that I did not list and have links, please post them and I will create a new category.

Here's some other resources that I have found to be very helpful in the past:

    php related:
    - php.net
    - PHPBuilder

    SQL related:
    - MySQL Website
    - DevShed's MySQL Section

Those are really helpful if you're just wanting general information or to find specifics about either development platforms. :)

    Very nice! :D

I see a lot of familiar websites. ;)

Glad to see you have Actionscript.org up there. That's a good place to start to understand what's really going on under the hood of Flash.

I see that Fetch and other clients are referenced for Mac users. Fetch is nice (I have it), but like other clients, it is not free for the latest version for Mac OS X. It is a 15 day trial, then you must pay a fee to continue using it. The older verion (version 3.0.3) is free, but runs under OS 9 only.

For those of you using Mac OS X and are looking for a good, free FTP client, check this one out: RBrowserLite. This version (free) of the software is sometimes hard to find at the main company website.....so I just linked it out of versiontracker.com's download section. It has worked pretty well for me and I find myself using more and more. Of course if you are looking for a more feature-rich client, then you'll have to end up paying for the full blown client or the full version of the other clients mentioned above. If not, this one works great. Just thought I'd add it to the list for those looking for a free version of a good FTP client for Mac OS X. :)

If I think of anything else (I probably will :p) I'll post it here. Thank you for starting this thread JMT! :D

A friend of mine gave me this one today.

    3dbuzz.com

Great site with free Video Training Courses in the download section, plus forums for just about anything you'd want to do. I've spent the entire day on it since he showed it to me at lunch.

I just signed up to Aimoo and I've created two forums there.

This is an IGN forum, but why isn't it on the list?
