Hi there! Welcome to Tipoca City, Vancouver?s FanForce Chapter. Who are we? In short, we are an online community of über Star Wars fans living within the Lower Mainland/Greater Vancouver area, who not only post here (in the Jedi Council) but also enjoy participating in fun Activities in our local community.

To help get you started, here a few useful links below that will definitely make your experience in the JC a little more enjoyable and a little less confusing.

Who gets on the list?

 

Right now, the list is currently made up of myself (as the City Rep) our Collecting, Costume, Fan Fiction and Morale Officers (Antonio, Cassandra, Rachel and Erin), the creator of our board theme as an honorary member, (Lisa) and everyone who lives in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area that has expressed an interest in being a part of the FanForce. This list is a lot shorter than the original, but that is because I have removed some people who have been inactive for a while. If they want back on, they need to let me know by 9:00pm on Monday.

I'm sorry you misunderstood, jeigh. Let me make things a bit clearer for you to understand. In my need to get things up and running as soon as possible, I need to know how many of our members are interested in continuing as part of our group. Several of said members haven't really been active on our board for a while (dexters, Canadian_Wookiee, JEDIASSANT, spoodger14, Master_Ice_Cream, _5_1_5_0_), and so I needed to know if they were still interested. Hence my sending out the PM's to everyone last week. I needed to know how many of them were still interested in being part of the group. Those members didn't get back to me in time, and so I don't consider them members anymore. However, should they make contact with me in the future, I will re-add their names to the list.

I'm sorry you feel you feel put off by this, jeigh, but I would like you to know that excluding people from the group has never been, and will never be, my intention.

That is exactly what I said, Cassandra. They are still considered members, but unless they get back to me, they won't be added to this list.

I am sorry for my leave from this forum, I just didn't feel right after seeing MASTER_OBI-DAN leave the JC to step in here, especially after becoming the newest Coordinator of his program. However, I still feel a connection herein, and I will stay as a guest till the day I leave as he did!
