The WELCOME TO FAN DESIGN Social Thread: Just Who in the Heck Are You?

Yeah, that's what's been keeping me from here, mainly. As a junior, I am getting into the major classes which are starting to kick my ass.

 

It's exactly the same for me too. Junior year, actually transferred to a new school, and an intense focus on the major makes me very busy.

 

I remember those days very well so I can empathize. What are you guys majoring in?

I got my degree in Political Science.

 

I'm majoring in Political Science too.

 

Getting my degree in Computer Science. Where did/are you guys go/going to school at? I'm at The Ohio State University.

A good friend of mine graduated from OSU.

I'm in high school.

I am from a small high school and chose OSU, which (I am pretty sure this is true, at least, we like to say it is) is the largest campus in the nation. So, the transition was a bit intimidating for me. Honestly though, I can't imagine anything else. Out of curiosity Salty, how was the small school experience?

 

Being in a fraternity at a small school made college like being in a small high school. Just about everybody knew just about everybody else. It was a great college atmosphere.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what fraternity were you a part of?

 

Pi Kappa Phi

It was started in 1904 in South Carolina.

 

Okay, cool. I know there is a Pi Kappa Phi here on OSU campus.

I am also a member of a fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. It's a smaller one here on campus, but it's great.

 

That's awesome. The key is finding a group of guys you have a lot in common with and get along with.
