    Count yourself among the lucky.

My local modern rock station got hit by lightning twice in ten days in July and the phones were out for a month.

All Stinkin Pork, all the time. [face_plain]

I took up Classic Rock, rarely looked back. ;)

Yeah. At least big bands don't sell out and go on tours with obnoxious bands that they're nothing like. Probably costs a lot less to go to their concerts, too. Foo Fighters concert this summer is going to kill me. :(

Linkin Park has been my favorite band for quite a while. And its just an opinion. I have mine and you have yours. So long as there is no big long rant about how "Linkin Park is garbage, they can't perform, blah blah blah."

Linkin Park has such songs as "Crawling," "One step Closer," "In The End," and "Papercut."

I have a Linkin Park CD. Not that good. It's basically Techno and screaming with a lot of electric guitar.

    However, my taste in music seems to be strange. My CD's include 3 beatles albums, The Shrek Soundtrack, Wierd Al Bad Hair Day, AOTC Soundtrack, Southpark Soundtrack, and Linkin Park 8-}

    :)

Mine are just as strange Ace. I like rock (both classic and new), rap, pop, country, and stuff like AOTC, and southpark soundtrack and Weird Al.

I don't like half the crap I got, but they're the only CD's I got. On my computer I listen to anything from ACDC to Beach Boys to Blink 182 to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

    :)

I hope we can all agree that Weird Al kicks ass.

A lot of the songs Wierd Al makes are only good the first few times. However, he has about 6 or 7 really good ones that kick @$$.

Is it possible to disagree with a statement like that????

Stakkie, do you like Disturbed? From what you posted awhile back in that thread, it seems like you do, but just wondering.

I know I started it, but we're really off-topic here, so let's take it to the Modern Rock Discussion Thread, please. :D

Hells yeah! EDIT: (that can be taken as a Weird Al statement or a Disturbed statement. But as lexu says, to the Amphitheatre. :))

I think Wes would like the Soggy Bottom Boys. Failing that, Barenaked Ladies or Jimmy Eat World.

I have to agree with the latter two. Not a fan of...nearly anything south of Missouri's south border, so I can't offer an intelligent opinion.

I'm thinking he would like DaVinci's Notebook. :p

    Yeah, He'd love Tenacious D.

I think he'd love many of the songs from the 60s and 70s.

I could see him dressed up like a Hippie.

Whoever was asking, TSM has been around somewhere. I was talking to her by PM last night.

What's this? Four newbies? Yay! Mass gauntlet!

    *gives the Ewoks chocolate*

How many have we extracted acceptable quotes from?

I think one. They're all pitiful. Maybe the Gauntlet will teach them a thing or two. ...And my friend Brandon is reading out loud over my shoulder. Say hi to Brandon everyone!
