Basically, I've noticed many people posting huge list's of their favourite websites and threads, and in the interests of stopping Spam (for that is our mission here at VicFF - 'Huggard's Heroes, we know SPAM' ;)) I thought it would be handy to pool them all in the one thread.

For all those claiming it is becoming increasingly harder to find something interesting to do (such as R_P) and that this board is quickly becoming the bored board (such as R_P ;)) We now have an easy to find, one stop reference for fun, interesting type websites.

Simply, if you know of something, please post it in this format.

    Type: Website/Thread.
    - By: (company/web group/author/creator).
    - Site type: Informative, humerous, satirical, SW related, miscel.
    - Location: (insert link here).
    - Description: It's good becuase....

    For example,

    Type: Thread.
    By: Darth Burns
    Site Type: bloody funny.
Location: Is Star Wars one big orgy?
Description: The name says it all...quotes galore that make you wonder what the flanneled one REALLY gets up to out on skywalker ranch....

Or everyone's seeminly current flavour of the month...

    Type: Website
By: Joel Veitch a.k.a the crab of ineffable wisdom.
Site Type: A genre unto itself, hilarious animations.
    location: www.rathergood.com
Description: Blode is so cool, my new hero, and Mr Stabby is a hero of the working class.
This site is the very essence of Mandalore, and Blode belongs in the Dump having his say.

    Alright guys, lets get posting!!

Well, since I have received a barrage of insults from PoT (there's a lot of love there :p) I might as well add what I have come up with:

    Type: Website
By: Several nutcases including Joel Veitch
    Location: B3ta
Description: Lots of links to other pointless amusement sites

    Type: Website
    By: *Shrugs*
    Location: Here
Description: Please see this site for what it is; crappy Christian propaganda, and why we hate fundamentalists!

I have many more, and shall to adding to this list when I could be bothered!

That's you Lute? It's serene...I'll tell you what, my one great regret is never pursuing a musical talent of any sort. I envy your gift.

Also, I neglected to mention above, two things.

Any linking to illegal, or sites of vulgar or obscene content is not allowed, and anyone who is twisted enough to try such a thing is taking full responsibility for their actions, and would be knowingly breaching both the TOS of this site, and possibly, the law.

Let's be sensible here lads, if you want to be a sleaze, keep it out of this forum.

On that note, one more round of applause for Lute's hidden talent....

Ok, I can't post anything vulgar or link to it? Ummm, can I suggest a site which does contain some vulgar material, but is mostly quite funny?

    In the mean time

Site Type: Amusing prank call material/tool.

    location: Arnold's Prank Soundboard

Description: These three soundboards should be used with 2 phones, One next to the computer speaker and the other so you can listen in.

After you're set up, just call some random (Or not so random ;) ) person and select the Arnie phrase you want. You can carry out a whole hilarious conversation using Arnie's amusing voice.

Here's a sample of calls that other people made. There are various celebrity voices used and all are hilarious in their own way.

    Sample

    ENJOY!

    - Type: Website
    - By: Rob Cockerham.
    - Site type: Humerous and sometimes even informative.
    - Location: Cockeyed.com
    - Description: I found out about this in the "Wired World" section of the Sunday Herald Sun a couple of weeks ago. The main part of the site involves this guy counducting experiments to answer the questions of life we all ask but never do anything to find out, like:
-just how many pieces of bread does a jar of vegemite cover?
-how many pages will a print cartridge print?

Other things on the site include some funny [and clever] pranks that he and his friends have pulled off, and other projects that he has undertaken just for the fun of it.

The experiments are written in a funny commentary/story format and have lots good pictures to go with it.

This site is great to look at in times of boredom and late at night when you cant sleep. ;)

You don't have to regret something you can still do while your STILL young PoT. I only picked up my first instrument when I was 17 (If you don't include 12 months keyboard practice in primary school, or prep recorder lessons), and haven't had any training. Instruments are for all people of all ages and are fun. No regrets, except maybe the fortune I've spent on them.

Now once again (from a different thread) is there a band opening or open mic night for the stage at the pub?

Go here http://www.the-underdogs.org/ for all the old games you thought you'd never be able to play anymore!

Classics like Moonstone, Archon, Syndicate, Rick Dangerous, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, and Death Knights of Krynn!

Classics range from the 80's to today, whether or not is has been abandoned by shops, hence the word Abandonware.
