I spent today making a very evil looking surgical scalpel with a large, curved blade, and a head harness that restrains the mouth open by locking onto the teeth.


While I was making this, I was also given left over Kryptonite from the Superman shoot taking place next door [face_grin]

Today I found more scripty goodness to help with my lack of skillz for the page, had a look at how crap the logo really is, watched TV, read some more of my book, ate dinner with Soup and now I'm waiting for him to get back from a friends place.

 

The scalpel's for a music video shoot, one of the scenes is the players playing poker for their own internal organs, which get removed staright after the hand is played. The same shoot I built the torture rack and now the head restraint harness for.

Btw, I found out this evening the person in the head harness has a tongue piercing, so I'm modifying it so both bars lock over the teeth and the bottom one attacjes to the piercing.

 

You're a fantastically evil man, you know that right? Man I wish I was over there to see it, sounds like heaps of fun...

 

How does the new kryptonite look? Still pretty traditional?

I'm Glad Bryan Singer is holding the reigns on this one, and not some idiot like Mark Steven Johnson, who is doing Ghost Rider. I am very scared it's gonna have an Evanescence soundtrack and be way over stylised!

 

Worked today. Just worked. Nothing much else. Though I was happy when the Eagles lost Updated MSN to 7.0, if only to see what these wink things are *shrugs*. Gonna get ready for meet now. Should be fun. I also came up with some ideas to improve my script even further, more on that later (Saintheart, if you read this, I'll be in touch shortly)

Today I slept. I have been trying to catch up on the sleep I've been missing out on for the past couple of days. I haven't quite succeeded yet, but I figured if I slept any longer I wouldn't be able to sleep all night tonight and I'd be right back at square one again. Later tonight I'll be going out to a partay.

 

What we did last night.... Can't remember, too many drinks!

Peoples rocked up at 6.30pm - played Trvial Pursuit SW style. Ate pizza and garlic bread. Watched Sean Micalleff, Anchor Man and the Umbilical Brothers. Went to bed 2am....

It's now 10am and SOE and his girl are still alseep.... Meanwhile,; Johnnage, Kart and I gave played a game of Trivial Pursuit (cause we never finished the game last night). I got my butt kicked.... Johnnage won the game.... Up for another round....

 

Yesterday I drove home from Kalgoorlie. Unpacked the car when we got home, bummed around for a few hours. After dinner I set up our new dvd recorder and played around with it for a while, only to find that it has jammed up and won't spit out the disk that is in there (great). Lucky Nicole is heading back to Kal next week, so she can take it with her and see if they will swap it or can fix it.

Today I'm going to head to work for a few hours, re-arrange our bedroom so we can find somewhere to put the tv we bought for in there and maybe paint some LOTR figures or something.

Also bought some decent poker chips for my gaming table (which I now have to have shipped here or pick up next time I'm in Perth). When we finally move back to Perth I'm sure the gaming table is going to get a workout.

Returned from Nat's place after having my butt handed to me on a platter due to major losses in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit (damn you johnnage and your knowledge ... bib fortuna!)

Watched a few episodes of Firefly after returning home, chowing down on maltesers. watched a bit of the Ashes 2nd test (great game) and came on here to catch up after having little hours on here the last week or so

 

I spent 12 hours Saturday setting up a studio for a music video shoot, got two hours sleep and spent until 10 last night shooting the video, trying to desperately suppress the urge to throttle the crap out of a little prima donna model who actually interrupted direction I wa giving her to ask the oh so popular airhead actress phrase "What's my motivation?".

First off, I'm telling you what your motivation is, if you ask something, be sure you understand the words you are using and don't try to use a sentence you think actor's are supposed to say. Second, your motivation is to not have me kick your ass.

Stuck up, bitchy, whiny, annoying little meatpuppets aside, the shoot kicked ass, and the band, as always, were just as cool as could be.

Oh and F_A? You would have loved the custom 1937 black hearse we got to use

Well, Its not a what i did today, this is a what i did on the weekend

Mental weekend had by all!....

My mates birthday, some of you know him! Spinny Dave.... Started off Friday night with beers at cheers in vic park... then off to the Red Windmill in the city! It was a rather cheap night eventhough we got there at 9pm and got kicked out at 4.30! coz they were closing! haha my brother got caught in the loop so he came along! and spent more money then all of us combined haha!

Saturday consisted of a little suprise bash for Dave... started off with getting him out of the house so we can setup! so my brother took him to the movies.... me and troy went off and got party food and drinks... lit a fire, thought butane gas would get it started but my god we were wrong more like a fireball! mwahah Some of you know how big my backyard is! not a good idea to have a fireball in that I sorta knew before butane would be a bad idea, but my god it was funny..

We had a decent crew rock over... Michael, Michelle, Leith, Dan/Sal, Me, Troy, Dave(of course, my brother, emily and her boyfriend.. so it was a quiet affair, but a fun one we talked till the wee hours.. decided we are going to do another film one knighthood is done and dusted! so im excited already!

Come today, i need more sleep the weekend was too much, I have my specialist appointment for my back tomorrow getting a tad worried, keep thinking the worst.. and its starting to give me bad headaches :/ so meh..
