    No...but I'm better than you.
Anyhoo, I went and got some DVDs to watch :)
    Got:
Pearl Harbour. Yes I know it sucks but I'm in the mood for aeroplanes
    Romper Stomper. Bloody great film!
Raging Bull. I'm yet to see it...but considering the director and main actor it's gotta be good.
    Shattered Glass. Havn't seen it.
Life as a House. Very nice wee film.

Life as a House was cool. Shattered Glass is supposed to be good too.

I watched Home on the Range last night. I thought it was pretty poo. It was like Disney took a giant step backwards when everyone is moving forwards!

For one thing it had singing (which I thought Disney was over!) and It was like one of their older less relevant movies. Kids aren't into that stuff anymore...

Shattered Glass was alright. It had one of those lame "it was all a dream" kind of endings though.

Last night I barely got any sleep and I had to be awake at 5.30am to babysit, which I've been doing all day instead of working on the page. Watching Astroboy which she seems to enjoy, playing around and dancing to crazy tunes.

Once she's picked up I'll either go to bed until Soup gets home or I'll attempt more work on the page. But she's getting restless now so I must be off...

I really wish I hadn't read that before watching it.

Hmmm...I'm kinda glad we gotta re-edit, simply for the fact we can now capture shot for shot instead of whole massive scenes and have them categorised properly. It's gonna take longer but it'll make the VFX part probably 50% quicker.
Yeah it's gonna suck re-doing it, but I'm personaly willing.
    :)
Good on ya for trying to get it salvaged though dude.

    Today...

Tear myself away from my beloved at 7.40 a.m. Take my 90 km/h shortcut through Applecross, stop at Canning Bridge Caltex to buy myself breakfast (read: one Pepsi Max.) Avoid killing people for about 20 minutes on the freeway and get to work. Get my assignments for the day from my boss and wander down to Central Law Courts at 9.00 a.m. No sign of new clients or new armed robberies, so trundle on to Court 37 for 10 minutes, then to District Court for half an hour, then to a halfwitted magistrate who decides to call my no-prior-offences client an "unmitigated liar", a "violent person", and "having serious anger problems". Talk aforesaid magistrate out of putting my client in jail, and wander off to Drug Court to convince another magistrate not to give my client in that court any additional time on top of the 20 months he got for 17 aggravated burglaries. Success. Head back to the office with another Pepsi Max and the West Australian in hand. Answer phone calls for an hour. Deal with insane mother of female drug-addicted client. Duck down to post office to pay speeding fine. Have a truckie's breakfast for lunch and head back to the office at 1.45 p.m. Spend rest of afternoon doing paperwork.

Get called by Kaustin at around 2.00 p.m. to advise me about the hard drive. Everything after that is pretty much a blur.

    :)

Well I got the call from the director of "Belfast Boys"* today. She was more than happy to do the interview for me next week, which hsa really sabed my arse. Also, nice coincidence, she's from the same place in Northern Ireland than my girlfriend's and my family is from...and also the place I'll be going to next year.
Looks like we'll have more than just moofies to chat about next week.

Woops...also the non entry version went for longer than 7 minutes.
It was a bloody fantastic short film, minus the poorly faked accents.
But hey, they made Peth look like Belfast good enough for me!

Got up at 4.30am - wanted to sleep in some more, but knew I couldn't. Showered , had coffee for brekkie, then left for work at 5.30am. Got to work, and saw my office a complete mess - again. My tiny box seems to be made a storage area for the trailer goods (trailer raffle for fresh future), and seemed to keep growing as the day wore on. Saw magazine returns that were supposed to be brought to me yesterday for strip listing for stocktake and near on let out a blood curdling scream. Printed final wage report for last week - boss hit the roof when national payroll buggered up a salary staff member's pay by charging them to the wrong store (now goes on to this week's wages). No EFT probs today, but I'm sick of people knocking on my door before 10am when there's a sign saying "DO NOT DISTURB BEFORE 10AM". Can people not read or tell the time?

Ran behind most of the morning. Had to count $200 or so in loose coins from the fundraising tins - yay! Workstation decided to bugger up again, and made another phone call to IT. All this over a cable that had come out the back. But I didn't touch it in my dusting. It was a ghost. Had my mobile alarm set to print out dept sales report on the hour every hour as we had the stocktake team in today. Ended up eating my lunch in my office cause it was a full house in the staffroom. Mental note: do not have lunch when stocktake team does.

Got home, checked the required stuff on the net. Realised my story is having a poor start. Ate dinner (leftovers). Watched a bit of Superman and then Oz Idol.

lol sorry for buggering up the story nat

came home, went for a long walk, basked in the last hour of sunshine and then had dinner, came on here. mercilessly shredded up the story thread with my input

Never mind mate. At least someone other than myself, Kart and Johnnage posted. Maybe you can sit on Commenor and think - or do the Spaceballs thing and get out the DVD.....

hahahahahahahaa ahhh that is damn funny. Yeah I can just picture it now. "Where are we master?" "We're in Now Now" (waves lighsabre in front of the screen)

Anyway I fixed it up, sorta, hope it works a little better. At least it was a good excuse for my character to kill someone for the sake of it

I've had a pretty quiet day thus far. Done a little housework, watched some Sopranos.

Nicole headed off this morning for a few days in Kalgoorlie so I'm just about to go and re-arrange the lounge room and setup the projector I borrowed from the school last night.

Could be a late night with the playstation tonight.

    Today I cleaned.

I woke up, had a shower then cleaned the bathroom. I cleaned out the shower, washed the walls and the screen, swept and mopped the floor, cleaned the sink, wiped down the mirror and cleaned the toilet.

I then went into the kitchen and put away the dishes that were stacked on the sink then proceeded to wash last nights dishes and put them away. I then cleaned the stove top and the rest of the oven, wiped down the benches, cleaned out the health grill and washed the walls behind the sink and behind the stove.

I then put away the washing, made the bed, vaccuumed the bedroom floor and the hall. I then came and tidied up the computer room and vaccuumed the floor. Then I cleaned up the lounge and, you guessed it, vaccuumed the floor. Next I swept and mopped the kitchen floor and now I am finally attempting to relax even though my back is killing me.

Tomorrow I'll have to clean the veranda area outside and try and put some order into it all the while keeping my eyes open for the redback that is lurking out there somewhere. All because we have our final rent inspection before the property is handed over to the new owners. I'd love it if we actually new a little more detail than that, but that's the way it goes with our crappy real estate agent.
