The whole of the sports world can be divided into two factions

Yankees fans and Red Sox fans. You can't be a fan of both, nor can you not be a fan of either.

So which are you a fan of?

Red Sox for me, personally.

 

Actually, you can in fact dislike both teams. Many people do and many of us are sick and tired of all the media attention the Yankees and Red Sox get. There are other great baseball rivalries besides this one (Dodgers-Giants, Cubs-Cardinals, Phillies-Mets...)

I hate both of those teams. Can't stand hearing about their next big-money pickup every year.

That's why everyone loved the Rays and now every is supporting the Jays.


(If I had to choose under penalty of death though, I would say that I hate the Red Sox a smidge more)

I'm not really a big fan of either, but I'll definitely take the Red Sox over the Yankees.

 

I hate both, but I'll take the Yankees over the Red Sox over the Marlins.

Really, I despise how hyped up their rivalry is. As mentioned before, Yankees-Red Sox is not the only rivalry in baseball, and certainly not the only rivalry in sports in general, nor do I believe it's the best one in MLB. Of course this has to do with personal bias, but what in sports doesn't?

 

I love the Yankees. Along with my college and my high school, it's the only sports team I cheer for militantly.

Oh ... and I don't hate the Red Sox -- I GREATLY respect them. They're part of our history, and I love having them as a rival. I actually cheered for them in 2004 -- after, of course, I was talked down from a ledge.
