Where did all these Red Sox fans come from? Go back in your holes or get off the bandwagon aleady. :p

1982 Big Game between Cal and Stanford, aka The Play. The epitome of great wins.

Also, the game between the NY Giants and the Dodgers of Brooklyn that's known as The Shot Heard 'Round the World. ;)

2005 AFL Finals, Adelaide v hated rivals Port Adelaide. Adelaide lost the previous week, Port won by 99 points. Adelaide seemed on the slide after winning the minor premiership.

Adelaide won by 83 after holding Port to only 5 goals for the match :D

Steelers over the Colts in the Divisional Playoffs last year. The game that gave the guy a heart attack. It was better than the Superbowl.

Notre Dame - Miami, October 15, 1988, Notre Dame Stadium. Two days after my 21st birthday, senior year. After being humiliated by the Canes repeatedly, we beat them in one of the best football games ever played, 31-30, with Pat Terrlell breaking up a 2 point conversion pass with time expired to preserve the win. The win didn#t even move us to #1, but it was so sweet, even more so than winning the Fiesta Bowl vs WVa (and yes, I was at both games, only missed 3 all year).

You must get into the mind of a Saints fan to understand. You see, the Saints doubled their franchise playoff win total with that game, so it was a pretty big moment for Saints fans.

And what, may I ask, was a greater thrill for you, your 8th grade graduation or the Cowboys last playoff victory? They occured about the same time.

The wins that felt the greatest...

Luckily for me, in the last few years there were a few

Superbowl XXXVI Patriots vs the Rams, when the ball sailed through the uprights, i was in heaven. it was my first chapionship, as an adult fan (86 celtics, but i was too young to truly route and follow the team all season)

This felt the greatest. To know what it feels like to follow a team through ups and downs. Bledsoe injury to the "who is this brady guy" to the 1st matchup against the rams... I witnessed a team come together and finally, against all odds, become a championship team!!

I was up all night watching ESPN. i recommend picking up the SuperBowl XXXVI dvd, it was an amazing season for the Pats.

    Patriots

The Snow Bowl Game (or the tuck rule game as some may call it) on Jan uary 19, 2002, was amazing. Jan 19th is my birthday, and well, those two field goals by Adam V were just the best in the world.

Superbowl XXXVIII (the patriots were not a fluke of a champion, Brady is officially an NFL all time great)

SuperBowl XXXIX (back 2 back-- it dont get much better then this)

2003 AFC Championship Patriots vs Colts was a HUGE win as well.

also, the AFC Champ against Pitt (2001,2004) and Divisional matchups against Tennesse (2003) INDY (2004)were also very very great!

    Red Sox

I want to say Game 4 of the World Series... when we won it all.
But, game 4,5,6 of the ALCS were amazing and each for their own reasons---
but Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS, completing the come back and going to the WS for the second time in my life was amazing.

I was at the 2004 ALDS Game 3 in Fenway when Papi hit a HR to go on to the ALCS, that was pretty
    sweet
