Congratulations to all of the winners!

We had a good turnout this season - especially considering the circumstances, and the vast majority of the categories were very close indeed, proving that old idiom about every vote counting. There were several categories where the winner was decided by a single vote, even despite the size of the turnout. You gotta submit those ballots, people!

Colors and titles shall be awarded for those who have won them, and all you Star Awards winners should feel free to display those wins in your signature.

Okay. So, what was this...

...about?

 

Note the part where I said "The nominees in the latter win", though I'll admit the phrasing there is less than ideal.

 

i.e. there were only two nominees in the first place for that category.

Along that vein, does this mean we've permanently moved to having two game winners per category?

 

Yep. I think it's reasonable considering we've halved the number of awards seasons, and since games generally have vastly shorter life cycles than the average user's posting career.

That said, if people would like to discuss that more in-depth I'd be happy to do so in the policies thread.

Congrats and my most desperate attempt to tie up plots and move everybody forward a bit when I was without internet got best post, you must be kidding me! guess ten days to post really is the trick. A shame I saw so little of the winners this season. Except SotF & SotSo of course. I was hoping we´d see a knock out for one of themn, so we actually geta a vote which one the "Sinners" like best? Not a chance we get to know if the order they are listed was also the order in which they ranked in final votes?
