Absolutely. I think he'll be starting back on his column in about a week.

Well, here's the link to where I'm assuming Woody's pieces will be. Jim Armstrong, also a ATH guy, writes a great column for the Post as well.

    http://www.denverpost.com/sportscolumnists

I read Cowlishaw, Mariotti, and Bob Ryan as often as I can, I'd highly recommend them to y'all as well. I can link them as well, but only if you want, considering this IS the Woody Paige thread. :p

I wouldn't be caught dead reading a Mariotti column.

One of Woody's better old columns, you can read some of his others on the right sidebar.

Maybe he can still do Cold Pizza via satellite.

I wouldn't be caught dead reading a Mariotti column.

They can provide good laughs from time to time.

I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to, though. Given that I'm usually laughing at Mariotti.

I suspect they'll find at least one, hopefully two new people for 1st and 10 (please replace Bayless!). I would also think that he'd continue to do ATH, although they may try to find someone else in NY to do it from time to time as well.

Anybody catch Woody's goodbye today on Cold Pizza? He got pretty emotional.

    I didn't, but I hope I can find it somewhere (oh, it's on ESPN.com).

How did Skip the Emotionless dog react?

Woody told Skip he loved him and Skip said he loved Woody too.

I can't believe I just typed those words.

The montage of Woody's highlights from his tenure at Cold Pizza was the highlight of today's show.

I love Woody Paige. At first glance I thought it said "Woody Hayes".

I almost came in here in a bad mood ready to berate someone. Glad I didn't have to do it:)

I actually had to choke back tears, when he was saying his farewell. I wish his sick sister makes it thru her battle with cancer, and that Woody doesn't end up losing her.

Any idea if he's remaining on ATH yet?

Yeah, I thought his goodbye from Cold Pizza was sad, I'll miss seeing him on 1st and 10, definitely.

He will continue on ATH, I believe he starts next Monday from Denver. Reali mentioned it last night.

I missed his cold pizza farewell, luckily the video was on espn.com

It was sad watching him talk about his sister. :(

So what's the deal with 1st&10, are they getting rid of it or getting someone new? Cold Pizza would sink like a stone without it I think.

I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Smith took Woody's spot.

As in Smith moving to NY? I don't know, kinda doubt that.`

No way. Smith's knowledge is limited outside of the NFL

See, I thought he was in NY. I guess he's in Boston still.

Well, I don't know, but they'll need someone with some fire if they want to keep Cold Pizza alive, Skip surely can't be the most exciting of the two on 1st and 10.

Skip Bayless looks and sounds like a cartoon character. And he lets personal grudges factor into his analysis way too much.

Woody's first two columns now up, most recent is

    "Cutler dazed, confused."

    http://www.denverpost.com/paige/ci_4767766

That should link to his most recent column, and his old ones are also listed.

This guy on Cold Pizza this morning with Bayless is awful.
