    So you admit that what we have here is essentially an idea that doesn't work. On any level...​
    So it is different from the Death Star in that it is a stupid, unworkable, implausible idea. Yet at the same time it is also a carbon copy of the Death Star, the point being so unavoidable it had to be compared to it in the actual movie...​
    So it is stupid, unworkable, implausible, and yet it also somehow manages to be unoriginal...
    I just get the sense of quality entertainment being shoved my way... Can you feel it?

    Or maybe that is the true meaning of... Just let it in?

    Its origin point is given in the TFA map - that seems like a strong indication that its supposed to move.

    If it consumes a star every time, just to fire the dark energy beam, it'll need to find more stars, to keep shooting.

    The "origin point" part was removed in print. Perhaps some future source will shed some light, but it seems they are ambivalent about whether the planet moves or not. Looking at the film itself, of course, without the aid of any reference material, it's pretty clear it doesn't move.
