This Xesh-wing fighter, has anyone come across it before? I've also heard there was a Vev-wing airspeeder deployed at Calamari during Dark Empire. But with DE, I suppose strange things were the norm. O:)

Being cute and using Aurbesh, Excellence? Yep, I've heard of the Xesh-wing, aka X-wing.

So it was just the X-wing...Like the Vev is the V-Wing then.

Ok it is solved then right?

Bugger you all. I had hoped for at least a few minutes of puzzlement. :D

I wanted to see how fleet junkie the fleet junkies were. Very well, I concede. How'd you guess it so quickly? I put thought into this. I want my money back . . . :p

I wouldnt have thought of V-wing if Airspeeder wasn't behind it.

I would have thought you meant X- and V-Wing but i wouldnt have said that cause i thought i would look stupid XD

Sorry, if I could post the actual images of the aurebesh alphabet I would. For now I can only post the pronunciation of the auerbesh letters. Note that with the first twenty-six you can tell which letter it is by the frist letter whereas only three out of the last eight, the double letters, can be told by the first two letters.

    Xesh-weskisknen.

Of course if you apply "Aurabesh" to any of the weird text in the movies you get goblidgook.

Yeah, the OT yields garbage. I think they actually tried to make the PT Aurabesh make logical sense, though.

How about something like trillweskisknern iskosknern esknenisknernesk? Or Jentheskdornisk Eskxeshpenthlethoskresheskresh?

For one, I know enough of the aurebesh alphabet to have instantly thought of that when you had Xesh-wing in the title. Then you made the goof of Vev-wing airspeeder confirming it. If you'd done something like I did after I posted the aurebesh to english then it might have been more difficult.

Knight, I was aware you're conversant with Basic, and some idyllic part of me hoped you wouldn't spot this thread too soon. But when I realised you were posting now, I knew my hope was gone faster than a tic tac in a Hutt mouth. :_|

My thanks to the Grand Admiral. I'm not jellous, just glad someone said it in the nick of time before night.

I'd just like to see the two I posted answered just as quickly, especially with the answer already on here.

Jellous? That sort of word-play on my name might well be sacriligous!

Knight: Jedi Explorer? I was just sounding it out, but too lazy to confirm it...

    Fine. :p

Jedi Explorer, Luke's ship from DEII.

Oh, and you had a typo. You put "penth" when it is supposed to be "peth". ;)

    EDIT:

    Jello beat me to it.

That's what happens when you put the book with the alphabet on it away and work with a thirty-four letter long list without scrolling up. But yeah, Jedi Explorer is it.

And yes, while I do know enough of the aurebesh to have recgonized Xesh, I still require the aid of a book to get the whole thing. Or to actually write in aurebesh.

    ...phew, that was close.

But honestly, you thought you could beat His Imperial Majesty to it, nick? Tsk. ;)

I remember Isard's Revenge had aurebesh letters, when the Imperial Oradin Hotel was changed to Grand Oradin Hotel, swapping an Isk for Osk, and I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. SW had an alphabet, I thought at that time?
