What program are you using to record the file, Ra?

 

Well, I finally made myself sit down and write some character motifs. I have them for Jacen, Jaina, Tenel Ka and Lowbacca (also for Anakin if we need it). Anyway, before I incorporate these into anything else, I'd like someone to give them a listen and comment on them. I want these to be perfect, as they will be the foundation of all the other music associated with this project.

 

Boba- I just used the sound recorder on the computer, what else could i use?

jedi- i'll listen to them if you need me to

 

I did all of those motifs, but I decided to do something else right now. As oposed to inserting a precompiled motif into the music I'm working on, I'm just going to try to deveop some 'on-the-fly' motifs for the characters. Hopefully with this method, I'll be able to give Rachel a piece of music to work with so that we can see what this cartoon will look like.

 

Jedi_Alman asked if I would help him out with the music to the cartoon. I'd be willing to help if that is alright with everyone else. I've been doing this sort of thing for awhile, so I have an example if that is what is needed to join in.

 

Actually, Elan, we need all the help we can get; I'm not about to turn anyone away. Welcome to the project!

BTW, I am NOT dead, despite what you may think. I hope to post regularly again, at least until finals. And then after that, I'll have more time to work here.

 

Okay, I have a piece nearly ready now. I'm writing this to sort of serve as a trailer piece that can be animated to. The music in it though can also serve as the main theme for the cartoon. I hope to have this piece finalized very soon.
