Star Wars films in a movie theater...lots of history and future speculation.

I was unable to find a comprehensive forum topic on all the theatrical releases & re-releases of Star Wars films so figured let's get one started.

US Releases - Original Films
May 25, 1977 Star Wars
May 21, 1980 Empire Strikes Back
May 25, 1983 Return of the Jedi
May 19, 1999 The Phantom Menace
May 16, 2002 Attack of the Clones
May 19, 2005 Revenge of the Sith

What were the past re-release dates for the films?
How about the international release & re-release dates?
Have the films ever been re-released simultaneously for a single viewing?
Will the future re-releases be 1 film at a time or the entire saga?

 

I read somewhere that the original trilogy got a THX-certified theatrical re-release as late as 1994.

 

It did in the form of the Special Edition.

 

Hate to double post, but I need to correct that it was in '97 for the SEs, not '94. I can't see any 94 releases anywhere I look.
