The number one CD single this week: the mutant hybrid of the Beverly Hills Cop theme and the fricking Jamster fricking Crazy fricking Frog.

WHO IS BUYING THIS CRAP?!?!

 

OMG! That's actually made it to the #1 in Australia? I thought we had better taste than that! I know it's been at the #1 in the UK, but I was hoping that we were smarter than that!

 

Australia + Taste = Never gonna happen

 

I enjoy life more when I just pretend the charts, and the people who cause them to rank stupid crap like that at the top, don't exist. That way I feel less inclined to slap people around who use that bloody ringtone.

 

Remeber that they are not sales charts but what has been sent out to the stores.

 

I really question the intelligence of people who would buy a ringtone on CD, particularly a ringtone as infuriating as that bloody frog.

 

If it's not novelty crap like that, it's asinine R&B or "gangsta" rap.

Have you guys seen the video clip of the bird behing put in a blender?
These guys in England I think made a video of a bird being put in a blender and chewed to bits (it's 100% real) and then they posted on the net with them standing around (exactly like the videos we see on the enws of the US POWs) demanding that all these Jamster people stop their ads or more birds will get it.
It's a halarious video, despite the poor bird who you can tell is alive untill they flick the switch

Hmmmm. Sounds like a short film I've seen - "101 ways to kill a chick", or something like that, where a fairly real and cute looking but totally cg chick is tortured and maimed and eventually put in a blender. I doubt its real.

Dude the bird in blender is real...well this one was. Trust me.
I've been doing CG long enough to know if it was fake or not.

I studied that video for ages looking at everything from motion tracking, glass rendering, feathers, dynamics..blood physics etc...It's real.
To pull off a clip with that realism (and I'm very hardcore about realism) would costs about $10,000. Minimum.
It's real.

I question those who buy ringtones in the first place. Especially from stupid television ads (which seem to always feature a CG animal of some description.... WHY?)
