ST There is a disturbance in the force: George Lucas vs Disney

So, as we probably all heard, George Lucas made harsh comments about Disney:

Suggestion: Lucas could offer Disney 5 Bn to buy back SW and redo TFA. If he has 5 Bn...

 

Disney would never sell back. They will probably squeeze 15 billion or more out of the IP before it's all said and done.

 

Over Mickey Mouse's cold dead hands. Disney didn't jettison out 4 billion dollars to buy this franchise from him only to just give it back. No money in the world will make them surrender it.

 

I respect George for establishing the world...but Disney is my master now.

 

That would be like Disney selling Marvel to Stan Lee. Not a chance in hell.

 

Then maybe GL ist just upset bout beeing ripped off...
