...about enjoying watching England getting stuffed at sports, especially Cricket. So yesterday was a particularly good day [face_laugh]

Well today hasn't been too bad either!

My wife is English so I must admit to milking this somewhat...roll on their football match with Germany!

Well my chap is English so the rivalry when Scotland play England is in our house too.

Do you live in England though? I do.

I left my lovely homeland to go live amongst the enemy.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    ;)

No I'm still here in "rainy" Glasgow. My wife left her homeland to come and live here, although she still works in Edinburgh so her judgement is not perfect yet!

Rain has stopped but is very cloudy.

At the moment I live in Baillieston but used to live in Cranhill - a real den of eniquity!

How's Milton Keynes then? Never been there.

I had a friend who grew up in Garrowhill; thats quite near Baillieston aint it? Hey, I'm a Sou'sider, I dunno the east that well.

Milton Keynes is good. Its kinda like East Kilbride in that its a new town with loads (and I mean loads) of roundabouts.

Shoppings not as good as Glasgow, which is why we spend a fortune when we visit my Mum.

And...I miss having an Imax cinema nearby...and a Forbidden Planet...and ASDA...

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    LOL

Wheres your wife from? I cant remember if you said.

Garrowhill is very near Baillieston and my knowledge of the south side is vague to say the least, although my Gran did live in Croftfoot.

My wife is from Doncaster but when I met her she lived in Liverpool.

    Shopping? Whasat then?

Well she lived in Arnprior Road, near the round-a-bout at Croftfoot. Been a while since I was there mind you.

Shopping in Glasgow is very good I have to say.

Hey, I agree about taking delight in England getting stuffed.

Particulary when they appear at Murrayfield.

I mean, the Welsh and Irish party with us when they arrive, and we have a good time with the French and Italians.

However, the English appear and the party atmosphere vanishes to be replaced with at the least a chill in the air, and at the most hostility.

And it's not just us! Chat to the people in other countries and they feel the same way!
