Back on topic, though. I'm come from South Africa, but I call myself Australian because I love living here, and because I am a citizen of this wonderful country
And as far as I know, I still have a valid passport from South Africa. Not that I'll be going there in a hurry...

 

Guys, seriously, let's save our energy till Gatherer gets unbanned and we debate pointless topics then. It can't be anymore than, oh, 3-4 months. Just hold out a bit longer...

How about we all take turns in BEING the Gatherer for a week. Eventually, sadly, we'll get banned for random rhetoric being spouted in the wrong place, but think of the sense of friendly rivalry and sportsmanship it'd instill in the forum.

Yes, an insignificant piece of paper. Like a 'permit', it is just another burden of bureaucracy.

What is a 'country'?

A PIECE OF DIRT WITH PEOPLE ON IT!

Organised thugs in business suits like to call it a 'nation' and define the borders for whom they are going to rob.

Isn't 'citizenship' good? No, because it makes it harder for people to travel and take advantage of opportunities elsewhere. Also if they get there, a real possibility exists that they'll be sent back to where they came from!

But what about terrorists? Private security, assassins, bounty hunters, PI's, private intelligence gathering, etc. People aren't stupid you know.

Aren't 'nations' a good thing? If you want to give legitimacy to organised criminals.
