Hi although my true name is Sullust_Lord I have the common name of Brian to mingle with the other members of Society. I am a huge star wars enthusiast and enjoy discussing star wars topics debating continuity and so forth. I'm friends with Kyla and Jarett who got me hooked on this site their costumes rocked yesterday. I really enjoyed the Toy convention it was awesome and I look forward to meeting the others I haven't yet. Lets have fun!

I gotta say, hanging out in a costume that's comfortable and has pockets is a refreshing change. It was good to see everyone from both clubs, hang out do the whole fan thang.

I have a continuity question for you.. though it may not be strictly continuity. Ok here goes...

If Obi-Wan was present at the birth of Luke and Leia, was a deciding factor in their placements.. why then does he not know of "the other" when Luke is speeding away in ESB and Yoda says "No there is another" ?

because as Yoda sais many Jedi are araogant, even after they were duped big time and Obi-Wan has put all his faith into Luke as that's been his mission for 19 years. Leia's possibilities would of course be more noticed by Yoda. He saw Anakin's failures and knew that Luke would be much like his father and Leia more probably like her mother, alos being raised in a Senatorial environment would have helped steady her brashness.

 

Makes sense.. Like I said, not certain that was a continuity question..
