    Yeah, this is bizarre and confusing. I never watched the original King Kong, but I assumed he died in that film. I would imagine the TV series would have the human characters taking the bulk of the screen time.

    God damn was this movie fun. Better pacing than Godzilla 2014.

    Godzilla vs King Kong has a director: Adam Wingard. Seems like he's done some horror work mostly- the recent Blair Witch being the most recognizable.

    Of more interest though is the writer's room developing the script: "Terry Rossio (“Pirates of the Caribbean”), T.S. Nowlin (“The Maze Runner”), J. Michael Straczynski (“Sense8”), Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne (“Star Trek Beyond”), Jack Paglen (“Transcendence”), Lindsey Beer (“The Kingkiller Chronicle”) and Cat Vasko involved."

    JMS! Wait, there's a movie coming out based on the Kingkiller books?

    That link is strange. They don't mention which two companies have signed a deal. They do mention the publisher of the book but what production company is optioning it?

    Glad to hear JMS is part of this writers' room. I've loved his writing for awhile. More recently, his Earth One: Superman stories. Dude had me crying about Clark Kent's cat.

    So they're going away from the space aliens/Ghidorah thing to keep it more "realistic." LOL

    At any rate, it's going to be a monster mash, which I'll be looking forward to seeing. I wonder if they'll slim down Godzilla.

    I haven't read the synopsis for the Godzilla anime, so I'm not sure if those are aliens to coming earth or if human found another planet like earth which happens to have a Godzilla. Also, it didn't help much that the teaser was in Japanese. That being said, it did peak my interest.

    That synopsis reminds me of Robotech: The New Generation, where Rick Hunter's advanced fleet returns to earth to find it's infested with the Invid.

    I think you meant antarctic, which the timing of that tweet is interesting, considering the news yesterday of a glacier the size of Delaware broke off from the mainland. I like how this monster-verse is shaping up, unlike Universal's monster-verse.
