ST They are making a huge mistake in making the Boba Fett Spinoff a "Orgin Story " !!

I can accept the Han Solo Film as a Orgin Story, A Young Solo in the Imperial Navy, freeing Wookie Slaves, and branded a Outcast and becomes the greatest Smuggler in the Galaxy, That has the makings of greatness. However with Boba Fett it is way different, We need to explore all the time periods of the Saga, Not just the 20 years between ROTS and ANH !!!

They are missing a huge chance to establish a franchaise in itself with the Fett film. It could better be placed directly after his fall into the Sarlacc pit, We could see his escape, we could see him fighting in the Star Wars Underworld to reclaim his mantle as the Best Bounty Hunter in the Business, We could see the Galaxies True Underworld post Emperor and Vader, IT WOULD BE AWSOME.....Yet they are sadly makely a orgin story, of a teen fett on his 1st adventure.........HOW BORING I thought we saw that in the Cartoon Series a couple of years back.........

I think Disney only sees Dollar signs, true Creativity continues to alude them. I hope the new Star Wars movies dont go the way of the Lone Ranger, that movie bombed !!

 

We don't know where the Fett movie is in the timeline. Hell, we don't know for sure it is Fett. Either way though a Fett movie will rock.

I think you're making a couple of big assumptions that aren't too logical. Firstly, we don't know how old Boba will be in a spin off movie... but I seriously doubt he'll be portrayed as a teenager. More likely a young man pre ANH when he's establishing himself as top dog bounty hunter. Secondly, I don't think there's any mileage in a story post ROTJ because... A) The Empire has been defeated and we assume the galaxy is more stable. B) Anything post ROTJ would/could conflict with events in Ep VII (even if it's simply a new visual aesthetic). Therefore I would imagine for this reason no spin off will be set between EP VI and VI.

 

When you learn to spell Wookiee, and learn how capitol letters work, I'll listen to your ideas. Till then, enjoy this informative and educational video.

Agreed. Hell, my user name and avatar are all about some Fett, and I'm glad he died in ROTJ. That's the Buddha part of it...acceptance of what IS.

A little later than below is the time line we'll probably getas a spin off, Since the actors that played Young Boba will be older now. Either that or an older Boba with the actor that played Jango and the Clones playing Boba Fett.
