OK, some of you may have noticed in the header "Fan Force Twinning City: Tucson, AZ". You may have asked yourself:

"Self, what is a twinning city? I thought only Minneapolis and St. Paul were twin cities?"

Well, allow me to introduce you to the "twinning city/sister city" program or programme:

The programme aims to increase relations and diversity between chapters by forming a close 'alliance' between two boards that usually would never have met. This starts virtually, but could ultimately end up in real life meets and the inclusion of your twinned chapter in the header of your board

So, feel free to take a click on the Tucson link in the header and go say hi to our twins, Tucson. They are very nice . . . and if they aren't I'll make them be nice

Their CR, cathiecat and I are talking about doing the Book Club in "tandem" with each group and having a discussion thread for each book alternating forums.

We had a fun RPG night tonight.. there were four of us hanging out and generating characters.. we are getting along pretty well.. having fun learning..

 

I've been hanging out there and having a pretty good time.

 

not much going on around here.. just rain.. though the temp is really rather nice.. right around 70* which is my favorite temp of all

 

70 in September? That's a cold spell for Tucson

 

Yesterday was a beautiful day.. today it is supposed to be back to 90* oh well.. the evenings are comfy once again finally.

 

Ah yes...very true...although it got up to 86* in our house today and woke me up with the phone ringing as well around 4:30 Tucson time...but yes we have had the air off 3 or 4 days now and are keeping the doors open and the screens closed...the weather has been nice especially at night
