Things announcers say that make you go "Huh?"

This is fairly old, but I just found out about it,

Anything Deirdorf says.

 

I don't have too much of a problem with announcers but I wish they'd get rid of the stupid sideline reporters in football. It's so damn irritating to see them asking stupid questions before the game, during halftime and after the game.

 

Anyhting Dick Enberg says when commentating on tennis. He tries to be poetic but ends up sounding stupid.

He will ofetn say 'poetic justice' when someone wins a point after they were denied it by a controversy and it just sounds awful.

Example. After Del Potro won the US Open and during the trophy presentation, he asked Enberg if he could say a few words in spanish to his family and coaches. Enberg said "Well we are running out of time". But Del Potro in an awesome move, didn't listen and took the mic anyway.
